Toysrus have some although I am shocked at the price!

i'm wanting a sledge for my girl too but the one place here that sells them detest. the shops smells, is overcrowded mostly with tat and very overpriced so if anyone knows any reasonably priced ones online i'd like to know too!
edited to add: silly me i forgot about argos! if they still have any in stock in a few days after my knees have healed up from my last attempt to walk into town i shall walk up there and get one, the taxi home is still cheaper than delivery!0 -
Does a tenner sound more palatable? Cheapsledges
Maybe our posts crossedArgos do them for a tenner as in my link above

i decided to use mse's megashopbot (or should i say i remembered to use it
) and i found one for 8.95 delivered... not the same kind as the argos one but i've not had good luck with that type, hit something hard and you get a crack and it's a gonner not long after that. i ordered the super tramp super glider from this selection
the one i ordered http://www.simplypiste.com/products/SuperTramp/BigGliderSledge.aspx
their selection

their postage is just 2.95 so not too bad and less than the taxi ride (and my knees will thank me :rotfl:) i'm so swollen up from yesterdays walk into town the me kneecap keeps feeling like it's being pushed to the side
when we get enough snow to sledge in i'll put my thermals on under my clothes, don my chube and woolen hat, big coat and put my yak traks on my shoes and waddle down to the park with her so she can sledge, they have a nice park bench at the top of the hill i can watch from0 -

hi
Does anyone know where to buy kids thermals online? i have looked at m +S and they have lots of stock but wondered if anyone knew of a better deal?
We have minus 6 daytime temperature predicted for next week, so need to get the kids sorted out. I tried to put their old thermals on them this morning and DS said they were too tight around his arms...
Better oil the sledge ready for the school run..

Did you try Decathlon Stores, they have online too, they sell under ski thermals, which I buy my boys, the youngest wears it as under football kit armour too for wamrth in the winter. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

i bought a bunch for my daughter from millets this year.
not sure what kind of sales they're having now but when they do free postage if you buy 2 items of clothing and discounts the clothes are quite reasonable

Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.0
