Not sure if anyone has seen the forecast for next week?

Netweather was reporting a 60% chance of snow on Wed and Thurs daytime when I looked yesterday. Just checked again and this has now changed to Thursday night and Friday - 90% chance! I live in the south midlands. Just thought I'd warn everyone!

warn or get us excited? :p

i didn't know about this site so thanks for that, it even allows me to convert temps to Farenheit which helps me alot, i still think in 'old money' far more easily then 'new money'

i checked and whilst our chances start on tuesday here (pretty low at 28% on wed we vary between 40-78% and on thursday and friday it's 93%!!! my dd is over the moon so i shall incorporate some outdoor snow related home ed lessons this week methinks :T

part of me also feels slightly vindicated, THIS is what i've been feeling under my skin for months, this early very cold and snowy weather... i think a lot of us here just sorta knew regardless of weather predictions that this was gonna happen this year... least i know for certain my stronger than usual battening down the hatches gut feeling was right and my weathersense is still working properly :p

I've still got to make an extra fleece curtain to go between the glass front door and the existing velvet door curtain.

Also, fleece curtains for our bedroom and the spare bedroom.

And for the bathroom, although there is a blackout blind in there.

When the weather is dull and gloomy, I don't even get out of my pyjamas and one day just runs into the next.:o I feel so down, when there is no sun.

I had a really bad night last night with nerve pain down my right leg, so could fall asleep right now.:( If the rugby wasn't on, I would probably go back to bed. Taken a couple of Panadol.

Yep snow is forcasted for most of the UK next week, I dont mind, ive got plenty of built up credit on the gas and elec......:D This is the one good reason we pay through out the year to have a good build up just before winter starts.............

It can throw what it want at my house, Ive made sure I wont be cold.........I can do without a lot of things in life and I do, but heating will never be one of them............:)
