Also, if anyone smokes (:o) then keep a spare packet of 10 in the car... Its dreadful to be stuck in 5 hours of traffic with no cigarattes if you are a smoker. Better still, get Alan Carrs Easy Guide to Giving Up Smoking
whilst not a smoker that gave me a chuckle!
if you got stuck in traffic long enough do you think it would help you kick the addiction?(don't worry, i know it's much harder than that!)
my ex was able to kick his lifelong irn bru addiction by having two weeks in australia and simply being unable to find any anymore. when he came back he'd managed to overcome the caffeine part of the addiction but the cravings for the irn bru taste specifically were totally wiped out when he tasted it again... he said he'd never realised how syrupy it is til he went without it for so long!0 -

haha! Don't know about kicking the addiction but I can imagine the passenger woudn't have a very good time stuck next to a smoker with no cigarettes! My DP would be a bloody nightmare!0 -

Yep! Its stressful enough being in hours of traffic with no end in sight... but for a smoker with no ciggies... its even worse :eek:0 -

thankyou for all your helpful tips they really do help keep our house warm .Last year fuel bills nearly made us fall over they were so high, had to have heating on all day but still felt cold . This year no draughty chimney or doors .warmer rooms and beds ,and do not have to have heating on all day the house stays warm.I have stocked up freezer with lots of home cooked warming meals ,last year spent of the time sliding about in the snow trying a find a shop with milk and bread worrying incase village gets snowed in ,however this year stocking up with tesco delivery ,lets me see what i am spending and stocked up cupboard and freezer with meals good job really as hubby made redundant 2 weeks ago so have to save every penny and really enjoying doing it i like a challenge.found some pretty candles in the back of the cupboard and got some cheap bars of chocolate stocked up before the VAT rise .for cosy nights in with family board games in the warm .have a good day and very best wishes to you all.0
