That tiny bit, right at the bottom, that's almost green. That was us. The NO SNOW bubble. Seriously, about 10 flakes, and even places in Devon and Cornwall got bucket loads of the stuff. You cannot imagine how riled the kids were. No snow days, snow men, snowball fights or sledging.

And yes, I do know what it's like, I used to live in Chicago where snow is a fact of life in the winter, but boy, were we disappointed!

    This bit?

I know for definite it was snowing on 6th Jan in the London area.;)

I got these Teddy Bear Mattress Enhancers on the weekend from Dunelm Mill, although they're a bit expensive and you probably could make it OS style at home, I think they're worth it. Good reviews on site too. Also, price difference between sizes is £5ish.

    HTH someone:)

they look really lush through jtz, I'm very tempted by them myself now.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

    yesssssssssss...........

that was the picture I used as a Profile piccy for a FB group I started last year for Real Life Snow Angels :)

To me FB means Faceblind. I spent ages trying to work out why you would start a faceblind group for snow angels.

DS5 has a window in his bedroom (in his flat) that is about 7ft by 5ft and only has a plastic venetian blind. He's going to be frozen over the next few days

    Any suggestions?

I think it is quite sad, especially if you have kids.

I remember as a kid in the 60's we used to get lots of snow and hardly any now.

It's a b*gger if you have to drive in it but it is nice for the kids to see and play in when we get a decent drop.

Doris below was lonely last year as we only got enough snow to make her and no partner.:(
