Can anyone offer me some advice, please? I booked some dates for my sister, but put them in my name by mistake. Will they ask her for the payment card or ID at check-in? Thank you...

Not a problem in my experience - just tell her to say she has a booking in the name of......

Doh - my own fault, I've booked the wrong day! I had the cancellation insurance so thought 'phew!' but having read the policy it seems I won't be able to get my money back - waste of £1.50!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Didnt know you could cancel a saver rate booking.

I got 2 nights in Derby fri and sat for £9, booked as the default 1 adult (as i always do) but there will be 2 of us

    No hassle with site

You can't cancel a saver BOOKING and get your money back, but you can cancel a reservation which you have not completed to a booking, if that makes sense.

Thank you just realised what I wrote - yes as above has said I was still adding rooms so had not completed booking but when original room was deleted from basket it then let me buy it back with correct number of people. Sorry if I caused confusion.:o

    Hi!
This may be a known issue: whilst looking at Thursday 25 November for X hotel I noticed that when I clicked the Next dates link it gave me a week of Check Availability which may be think no cheapish nights (£19.50 rather the £9) were available. I clicked Thursday and then amended to Friday (26th) in Saturday out - and was surprised to see the same price for Thursday appear . Needless to say I've booked a night.
    Free thinker.
  • Suprise suprise, no 9 pounds rooms available in NI.

  • same here - says £9 but when u click its £15 The site is so ssssssssssssssllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwww

I'd exactly the same problem yesterday with jumping from £15 to higher prices. I just kept clicking different dates until I got a £15 one! Looking forward to a nice wee shopping trip with my mum in November. :)
