Seems to default to 1 ault 1 room when I've clicked on the £9 ones.

When I amend to 2 adults the price jumps.

    Usual?

Don't worry, just ask for extra towels when you check in.

With my first booking defaulted to 1 person and gave me £9 room, reserved it anyway but couldn't amend so went in and booked for family rate went up to £15. So reserved that one then deleted £9 booking. Went in again and looked for family and £9 back on offer so cancelled £15 getting me family room for £9.
(Bit of a hassel but saved £6)
As others have mentioned must have limited number of £9 / £15 etc so when they reach amount defaults to next level.
