With my first booking defaulted to 1 person and gave me £9 room, reserved it anyway but couldn't amend so went in and booked for family rate went up to £15. So reserved that one then deleted £9 booking. Went in again and looked for family and £9 back on offer so cancelled £15 getting me family room for £9.
(Bit of a hassel but saved £6)
As others have mentioned must have limited number of £9 / £15 etc so when they reach amount defaults to next level.

Didnt know you could cancel a saver rate booking.

I got 2 nights in Derby fri and sat for £9, booked as the default 1 adult (as i always do) but there will be 2 of us

    No hassle with site

It's OK to book a room for one adult, and for two of you to turn up? No problms?

I booked a double room by mistake instead of twin in the last sale. When I arrived receptionist said sorry hotel only does double beds. Said have 16 yr old in tow who is really not keen to share with mum. He moved us to the disabled room without any problem, which was great.
Good staff and very friendly. Two nights Aug bank holiday, central London £24 !! Great deal:T
I have just booked this morning for 2 nights London Kings cross 20/21 Dec £25 fantastic:T:T really can't beat this for great value. Even if you can't make it you can sell on Ebay and at least get your money back.

lots of offers in London the week before Christmas even the Covent Garden travelodge coming up at £19.50 but decided the extra £30 can pay for breakfast (hopefully have some change)

Seem to be loads of £9 or £12.50 rooms available at the moment. Lots in London if you want a pre-Chrismas shopping trip - Covent Garden seems a good one to try. I've booked for Manchester on the exact dates I wanted, so I'm a happy bunny.

Thanks OP and well done Travelodge!
