The Alfa was the only one worthy though ;-) ...if you do your research, rather than just sit on here disputing claims, you'll find I have a flickr account and my car, in very low resolution, is an Alfa GTV 1978 with a rebuilt 2ltr engine... looks like crap, but goes really damn well! ;-)
  • The DC25 Animal arrived today - again from amazon. Not sure what utopia are doing but they are delivering what you order and a cheaper price than others.

Mind you - not sure If I would do the same again as its not worth the worry...

I ordered the Dyson DC31 animal ~ £109.99, credit card went through without issue. Received confirmation email stating "paid".

Following Monday received the proverbial email offering £10 discount if I paid by bank transfer; usual problems with their cc procesing. Replied that I couldn't do that, could they do COD? Received email read response from "Anthony", but no further reply. So eventually sent "anthony" another email asking them to confirm cancellation, again read response received, but no further communication.

Like others, something here doesn't stack up. They are obviously paying Google to get the priority listing, not as "Dyson" but as "Dy.son".

At best poor operational efficiency, at worst who knows? Since Utopia have been using the CC issue for over 2 months now, one could conclude thet the CC companies are not prepared to accept the risk, so however attractive the price, nor was I.
  • I have been through a similar process as others here and paid out approx £100 via bacs. I have had no replies to my emails asking where my Dyson is even with the threat of police and watchdog.

I suspect that maybe not all the posts on this forum are
from the public concerned but I maybe wrong.
  • Because I have not received my Dy.son DC31 from Utopia Consortium Ltd I have now ordered another one from Amazon. So my Dyson has now cost me £230 the most epensive vacum I've ever bought (it better be good). During my new search it dismayed me to see that this Utopia Consortium Ltd is always top of list with the cheapest Dyson DC31 Animal on just about every website and top of the list on Google. I am going to contact Dyson and Google to see whether they can look into this company to see what is really happening here. I suggest aanyone else who has had the same problems to do the same, more complaints surely creates a serious issue.
I don't want anymore people to go through what we have, there must be so many customers looking for one of these Dysons for a cheaper price now that it is being advertised on TV and with Christmas just round the corner.

If it's the Dyson Hand held you were going to buy, they've probably done you a favour OP. I have one and it's the worst thing I've ever bought! The battery only lasts a few minutes and then you have to charge it up again, it's really annoying. I thought it would be as good as my Dyson upright but it's really not, it's rubbish.

Anyways, what's the rush to defend this company by all these new posters? If I buy something off somebody on E bay, I'm not gonna google their username/company name to check if anyone has posted anything bad about them so I can defend them am I? I wouldn't care enough! So why do all of you people if you are in no way linked to this company?
