Just to flag this scam up, looking for the handheld Dyson DC31 at the weekend, google adlink links to Utopia Office website, very cheap prices, the DC31 animal is £159.99 in Argos, Utopia list for £109.99 with free postage.
I was suspicous but love a bargain, so ordered this, and entered credit card details for payment.
Received email today claiming they cannot process card payments for 2 weeks 'due to new system', so ask me to pay by cheque or bank transfer instead (which obviously I won't do as no protection if nothing was ever delivered or any problems).
Obviously this could be completely genuine, but I suspect not - also the website is still accepting orders and credit card details now (after email states they can't handle card payments).
Just a warning to anyone else looking for cheap Dyson DC31 animal !
UPDATE: - see from the 26 pages up posts below, lots of people have lost money to Utopia, suffolk trading standards and the police are aware but this isn't helping anyone get their money back so avoid.
For info, I ended up buying our DC31 from Dyson Outlet on ebay - it was even cheaper than Utopia (£83.99 delivered) and arrived in a couple of days in plain brown box (as described) and works perfectly - battery life isn't brilliant, but suction is excellent, and we've used it a lot, so are very pleased with it.

Always be wary of websites that list their prices in GBPs.
Comet have got it for £126. Reserve and collect.

If it looks to good to be true it normally is. I would be more worried about your credit card details that you gave to this site rather than not receiving the 'Bargain'
If you do a search at companies house a limited company of that name does not exist.
If your going to deal with an online company you have never dealt with or havent heard of. A basic google search will reveal a lot as well as companies house and a whois of the domain.0 -

How would they have your info if you don't use them??
Besides, from the info on this thread, it isn't a company at all. Just a kid asking for people daft enough to transfer money straight into his bank account.0 -
I meant if she decided to cancel in the end0

Looks like this suspicious activity is continuing. I ordered the same product on Sunday and got an e mail yesterday saying my card could not be processed but that if I wanted to pay by cheque or bank transfer I could get another £10+VAT discount. Needless to say I declined this generous offer. The same reason was given i.e. their card machine would be out of action for 2 weeks....mmmmmm...say no more..ordered from Amazon instead.0

I ordered a Dyson DC31, and got the same reply, credit card could not be processed for two weeks, also received an invoice with their bank account and sort code. Expecting this to be a scam, I still for the hell of it paid the money with the furter discount, promised delivery last weekend 24/27, plus a phone call with a number that showed up with caller ID promising deliery. As expected nothing arrived, sent email threatning Watchdog, and intending to go to my bank with their details, Bingo yesterday email received saying being despatched and a Fedex tracking number, unit delivered this afternoon obviously brand new and not long packed by manufacturer, Releif or what! I dont think I will gamble again not worth the pressure. :j:j:j:j0
