I just hope not one person believed these "i got mine" and went ahead and ordered.

Guys,

I feel very sorry for those of you who have not received their orders. What I can't understand is why a select few of us did receive them????!!

My personal point of view is this was a genuine company thats has bitten off more than it can chew, as a consequence they have gone under.

Can some one tell me if my bank account details are at risk. I don't think they are as I made the money transfer using their details, but I'm no expert so any advice is greatfully received!

perhaps seeing this thread mr ensinger purchased some (as people mentioned amazon packing) via a third party to perpetuate that his business was legitimate.

hi i have just spoken to the owner of utopia who i recommended to get his web site up and working and place an apology on there also for him to join this forum and tell us all what has gone on with this nightmare, he assured me he will . watch this space!!!

the weather was to blame for the web site down, he also told me and he can not take card payments at this moment,

hope this helps but i am glad i have brought from someone i know. ie dixons.

I called the company, no response (didn't expect one)
I called the accountant (this morning) told he was not available - but when I explained my issue - I was given a mobile number to contact 'anthony', but no other offer of help or advise.

not sure what else to do except complain to various authorities- but that won't get my money back...

JDH2 either your another one in on it, or youve been had. why would the weather cause a website to be down?!

there is a number online for mr ensinger but doubt it works/if you will get any joy 07554 291950.

i suggest anybody who has any dealings with this company contact their credit care and bank issuers for advice, and the police if they have parted with money and received no goods.

The card payment issue is a red herring. There are reviews from other sites going back to August 2010 where Utopia haven't been able to take card payments, so it is not a temporary issue, and therefore misleading.

Utopia may not take card payments because:

(1) Their margins could be low that they don't want to take cards

(2) Utopia/Mr Ensinger could have a poor credit rating and have been refused a merchant account

Utopia appeared to know about this thread as they posted a detailed reply a few pages back (it's now been removed as they aren't on the official list).

The only thing I've seen on utopia is problems with the delivery of the dysons, from what I remember of their website (when it was up and running) there was also a lot of other stuff -I know I didn't try to order anything else but did anyone else???
