I'm stunned.0

i dont believe any of my posts of disbelief were aimed at you karlos, if you read back.... you didnt pop straight on from nowhere to sing praises about your wonderful dyson that didnt exist. they are the posters i was trying to deflect people from believing, simply because as you are now realising, its been a scam all along and i still believe 99% of people genuinely DID NOT receive any goods. hence why now the site does not exist.0

Looking at http://www.who.is/whois/utopia-office.co.uk/
it does actually say that the website is "inactive".
Well I take no satisfaction for all those guys and lassies who may have been burnt by this scam. Ensinger was, I believe, supported by a number of friends/relations who tried to persuade others to ignore good internet practice - ie don't pay by any way other than CC, check unknown vendors and be careful about "good reviews" from first time posters (apologies to the genuine amongst you).
I have called my CC and they have noted my concern, I also have copies of emails cancelling my order, togther with Ensingers "read receipts". Suggest those with outstanding orders who haven't sent cash and did not receive any goods, cancel their orders to anthony@utopia-office.co.uk (requesting read receipts), and call their CC immediately.0 -
All,
Over the festive period, cash can be spread very thin across a range of products to give to friends and family members as gifts.
Another 'bogus' or 'dodgy' website is not what we need in the world today, and i urge MSE Forum readers to take care when purchasing items online, Also use there own judgement and to try to protect themselves by paying with a credit card, as sending cash transfers etc will not be protected incase of fraud.
I will also urge prospective buyers to ignore the 'my items arrived' posts by new MSE users, especially those who have registered on the MSE Forum website within the past few months.
The MSE Forum draws alot of internet traffic and is pretty much comes in the top of every search for a product made within google, usually as a MSE Forum user has posted about the item/website. New users that post onto the MSE Forum could be part of a group out for deception, to obtain peoples cash without providing any items in return.
So please, when purchasing online, ask "Where is my money going"..
Buyer Beware..
Regards,

i feel ashamed to say that i ordered a animal handheld DC31 and fell for the cannot process your credit card trick , and payed by bank tranfer this was on the 8th of december and to date i have only had a couple of emails saying there would be a delay in delivery i feel such a fool now for not standing by my guns and only paying with my credit card please dont use this company my money is now lostjblackmore wrote: »Just to flag this up, looking for the handheld Dyson DC31 at the weekend, google adlink links to Utopia Office website, very cheap prices, the DC31 animal is £159.99 in Argos, Utopia list for £109.99 with free postage.
I was suspicous but love a bargain, so ordered this, and entered credit card details for payment.
Received email today claiming they cannot process card payments for 2 weeks 'due to new system', so ask me to pay by cheque or bank transfer instead (which obviously I won't do as no protection if nothing was ever delivered or any problems).
Obviously this could be completely genuine, but I suspect not - also the website is still accepting orders and credit card details now (after email states they can't handle card payments).
Just a warning to anyone else looking for cheap Dyson DC31 animal !0 -

I just hope not one person believed these "i got mine" and went ahead and ordered.
what a shame so many people have been scammed at this time of year.0 -
I am afraid I too have been taken in, I did google soon as they asked for a bank transfer (due to temporary card issues), checked the website, the ISP, companies house, all seemed OK, pity this thread hadn't been indexed by google at that point. Still waiting for a reply to my emails, if I don't get one soon, think I'll just suggest to the Revenue and Customs they may wish to check if the company's accounts are up to scratch.0

Let's hope that it's a website glitch/outage rather than a bunk.The man without a signature.0

Feeling pretty stupid right now and wish I had seen all this a couple of weeks ago! Definately taking it as I've lost my money now that their web site has gone down and the link to tracking my order.
As for their email on the 12th saying we will be packing items in the warehouse and will have the phones on Answer machine to allow us all to assist in ensuring we can get your items for christmas sounds like another way of avoiding contact0
