Hi SkintGypsy and thankyou for the post on my DF diary. I have subscribed to your thread also because even though I haven't given birth yet I am a past slimming world devotee and planning to get back onto it in the new year. I've put on 3 stone and due in 4 weeks time :-)

I used to love eating the grilled breakfasts, huge salads and quorn pasta!
My treats used to be weightwatchers yogs, Kitkats and Jaffa Cakes. Oh and diet hot choccy drinks.

See you in the new year!

Hi guys Im trying to do EE can someone take a min and look at what I have eaten and tell me if Im getting this right Im a bit worried :( thanks

HE A: 250ml semi skimmed milk
    HE B: 28g Porridge

    pear, bananna, melon, pineapple, grape

    Lettuce, carrott, tom's,

    Prawns

Quorn sauages, mashed pot's, baked beans, gravy home made with onion & chicken stock

    muller light

1tbsp of reduced mayo 21/2 syn
    1 tbsp tommy k 1syn

    Is this all ok???

It's almost there! Just a couple of things, officially you should have a scan bran as well as the porridge for a HEB but I'll be honest, I have porridge nearly every day and never have a scan bran. The only other thing is, you haven't had a third superfree food with your tea which your meant to on EE. Some people say that's ok as long as a third of what you eat throughout the day is superfree. However, I was told (and it makes sense to me!) that you had to have a third superfree at each meal as you then filled a third of your plate with really low cal stuff, leaving less room for free food which is still good but not as good for your weightloss as the superfrees. I hope that makes sense lol!

I've been riding tonight, it was very energetic so hopefully that'll help my quest to lose 2lbs at WI next week!! I've had 7.5 syns today I think! Better do my food diary now and check.

I think the stress of planning a wedding should help me get super skinny!! We only decided yesterday and it's doing my head in already!!!! We don't want kids there except for my godson and goddaughter who will be paige boy and flower girl. Mum though, thinks I should invite my other cousin's kids, which would then mean we'd have to invite other kids and it would just become a nightmare! The guest list is looking mahoooooosive as it is and I only wanted a small wedding!

    Weigh in... drum roll please......

    5lb off!!! :j:j:j:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::j:j:j

I am SO SO pleased, ecstatic infact, especially as it is * week too. It's my biggest loss to date and it means I have lost ALL my holiday indulgencies and I am back in the 12's - just at 12st 12.8.

Looks like my diet of mainly fruit and veg worked... even though it was terribly windy here :rotfl::rotfl:(sorry too much info).

I plan on doing the same this week too, and if I can get a similar loss I will be back on track with my target.

    xx

Well done, that's fantastic, have a big pat on the back :T:T
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

:T:j Success I made my 10 veg spag bol special tonight and hubby loved it. Little does he know it has 10 different veg in the sauce (he has a veg phobia and it is usualy impossible to get him to eat ANY, even his mum has trouble, always has). Even I admit it was delicious and there was enough sauce and mince beef left over to freeze for another day. The sauce would also make a great soup so I must remember this one!

Tomorrows challenge is Cottage pie (veg n mince) with root veg mash, thats going to be a tricky disguise orange mash !

    :D

WOOWHOOO! :j:T 2 nights in a row hubby loved the cottage pie I made (little did he know it had another 9 veg in it. He loved it so much asked for seconds before he had completed his firsts! :D so didnt even get chance to freeze some for another nights 'conveinience'. Not that it takes long to cook.

I liquidised the sweed n sweet potato mash and added a bit of spread and a drop of milk and as someone suggested put some grated cheddar on top before serving. It was lush! :p

He asked what we were having tomorrow and I said jacket spud with beans n sasauges n cheese (for him, I have tuna, sweetcorn and mayo with cheese n spring onions n chives). He sounded very dissapointed so I said I can rustle up something else if he wanted me to but I am going out so it wouldnt be much, he said no it was ok but could still hear the disapointment in his voice at such a boring dinner :( :rotfl:

    Oh dear! How annoying.

Turkey mince - they have it on Ocado who I do my shopping with. It is £1.99 for 500g. I have ordered it to give it a try - what is the best thing to do with it?
Quorn products are 3 for £5 on there too - I don't eat it as I am sensitive to yeast and it is a mushroom derivative.

Had a good food day today - dynorod soup, ham and an ornage for lunch. That soup certainly does what is says on the tin!

I got home to some sticky spare ribs that my hubby had done - they were quite nice and syn free apart from a tablespoon of honey.

Just had the ribs and a jacket potato and peas. We have discovered that solero lollies are 5 syns so we are having those as a treat at the moment.

I think with the honey in the ribs, spread on the spud and my solero I am probably up to 13 syns today now.

Off to check some stuff I have got on ebay - been having a big clear out!

    Hey ho

If it helps I had to make tonights dinner twice cos I burnt the first lot  :o luckily I had enough ingredients in for it, but got to go shopping as I used up Saturdays stuff now.

    Thanks everybody.

  • Save up ya pennies, I agree with Lisa that you need more superfree with your tea/supper, eg you could have had tomatoes and mushrooms instead of (or as well as) the baked beans, as the b.beans are not superfree. And the extra bit of your HEB (I often forget this too if I have cereal, but it does help weight loss I think, if only in the ..er.. toilet dept). Other than that it looks good though.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • What's this scan bran stuff and where do I get it from??

Scan Bran is a little like Ryvita to look at, but is very 'branny' - not too tasty but very good for weight loss. Drink lots of water with it and it helps to fill you up too.

Can be bought in group or from Holland & Barret :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thanks sooooo much I just find it hard to get my head around this Im fixed with green days but I need a change. Ive never had the scan bran with my porridge when Ive done SW I know ur meant to :) - could I have ryvita? Im shocked that I dont have to weigh my pot's or my meat when they are on the same plate. Im sure it will click in the end but it may take time lol
Ooooh a wedding u lucky thing Im still waiting to be asked lol I always dream about ours and dread the numbers coz he has a massive family with loads of old family friends who are like family. I just see them as £ signs :rotfl: I think going abroad may be cheaper if he ever asks  lol

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
On EE do you have to have red AND green and superfree? Can you just have pasta & salad (50:50)?

    Thanks
