2.Im seriously in full PMT mode  tho no signs yet and its weigh in tonight and I fear its gonna be like getting on the scales wearing a rucksack!
Same here - had a raging fit of PMT yesterday, weighed myself and got all angry then demolished a whole packet of jaffa cakes.
I just went and bought some evening primrose oil capsules - apparently they can help calm down hormonal mood swings etc, and I have made OH promise not to break up with me cos of anything i do one week a month as it's not my fault it's the PMT making me mad!! :rotfl::oSian_the_Green wrote: »I don't think I could have only one jaffa, I would have to do the "full moon, half moon, total eclipse" thing
It was more like 'full packet, half packet, total disaster' :rotfl:
So I popped to the shop for some fresh air and got muller lights and fibre plus bars which hopefully will help me stay away from bad things.
How many syns is a fibre plus bar if you aren't having it as a HEB?? thanks
Also bought SW magazine for some inspiration - amazing recipes in there (and in the free booklet) - I can't wait to make the lamb curry!!
today I had some fruit for brekkie
lunch was a fry up of egg, bacon (fat free) cherry toms, mushrooms and HEB wholewheat toast (3 syns for flora light used)]
snack will be fresh pineapple
dinner will be low fat korma (recipe below - serves two hungry ppl in my house, but I've shown the syn values for 1 person/serving)
Korma: chicken, onion, garlic, fresh red chilli, fresh ginger, 2tsp garam masala, 1tsp tumeric (cook all this together)
then add a small tub of total 0%, 2 tbsp ground almonds (4.5 syns for 1 tbsp) sachet of creamed coconut (5 syns for half a sachet) and fresh coriander
served with plain boiled rice
total syns = 9.5
total syns for the day = 12.5
dessert will be a toffee muller light while OH munches on the replacement jaffa cakes i bought him!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

QUOTE=TakeItEazy;36654913]Well done on all the losses & BIG hugs for all who need it.
Hubby has told son to phone him from now on to stop me stressing out. Don't think it will make any difference, will still stress when I find out :rotfl:. He had to go pick him up again as his friend went home ill so had no-one to go home with.
Was talking to colleague today about how anxious I have become especially since the summer hols. Every little thing stresses me out big time and I don't know why. I do suffer with depression but no way do I want to go back to the meds [weight gain].
Anyway food today:
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, cous cous loaf, toms, babybel [a], crisps [5]
T - quorn pasta bol, cauli, loads of onions, peas, oil spray [1]
Snacks - apples, pineapple, melon, muller, meringue [2.5]
Syns - 8.5
Need another b but not got room
Quiz n chips on friday so will be on best behaviour till then.[/QUOTE]

6 syns.
Just back from uni, roads weren't too bad considering!
Had a WM roll with my HeA of cheese and just having a mugshot, never had one before. They are ok as an emergency i suppose but wouldnt rush to have them again. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Takeiteazy, re the potential stress with son, have you tried using Rescue Remedy? It comes now in many forms (as well as the old alcohol-based 4 drops on the tongue!
) including pastilles (sugar free, I checked!) and gum. It just herbally calms you a little when things begin to scramble - I often have a quick splosh or chew when I get in from work and the neighbours knock the door, the cats want feeding, i have shopping to unpack - and all I really want to do is just Sit Quietly for A Moment
it's not much to ask! I can recommend Rescue Remedy

thanks - will save them for my heb one day then, dont seem worth it when i could have a kitkat for less syns!
I really like mugshots, but only cos we used to have them loads when we were skint at uni and they remind me of 'the good old days'Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

FRUIT_SALAD wrote: »that sounds lush! ^^ Haven't had cottage pie in ages!
Will you be using normal or Quorn Mince? i dont usually like Quorn mince but its lush to make chilli con carne with!
I would use either, tonight I have a choice of PORK MINCE or QUORN as I could not find any Turkey mince anywhere in at Tesco when did weekly shop ! Wondered if I had imagined it existed once lol!
Am using Quorn mince in a con carne for me on Saturday while hubby has his pepperoni pizza.
Quorn mince is BOGOF at the moment in Tesco (500g) and they have a 'free' recipie book offer on special packs which I am going to get 1.Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!
