    hello lovlies. not been around again for a little while but still on plan. haven't been able to get to class so don't know how i'm doing. will hopefully get myself to a class next week. vixie, we're all thinking of you. xxxxx

    Green day;
    b - fruit salad, danone activia (5 for £1 at co-op, bargain!!!), nectarine
    l - baked potato and cottage cheese, another fruit salad (going on the cheap so got 2 of them!)
    d - pasta and sauce (will be back at 10pm tonight and can't see me being bothered making anything else)

    HEA - 250ml milk
    HEB - ????

    I find it really hard using my HEA and HEB choices on red/green days. so used to only having the one on EE.

    hope you're all well xxxxxxx

    OH is going to France for 9 days with his father. I was getting really wound up about it, but have decided to try to be glass half full about the whole thing. My SIL will be helping out with the kids and I am aiming to plan great meals with masses of superfree foods. It will be easier without OH around! So I have printed off the famous Dyno-rod soup and am working out what I have in and what I need to get. Look out...

    Hi Liz,

    I always find it easier with OH (even though I do get v bored) not around too as he has less will power - even though he is supposed to be on a diet too - not that I have loads myself. :rotfl:

  • Weigh in... drum roll please......

    5lb off!!! :j:j:j:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::j:j:j

    I am SO SO pleased, ecstatic infact, especially as it is * week too. It's my biggest loss to date and it means I have lost ALL my holiday indulgencies and I am back in the 12's - just at 12st 12.8.

    Looks like my diet of mainly fruit and veg worked... even though it was terribly windy here :rotfl::rotfl:(sorry too much info).

    I plan on doing the same this week too, and if I can get a similar loss I will be back on track with my target.

    xx

    WOOOOOHOOOOOO TRIXIE :beer:

    FAB LOSS :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
  • Well done Trixie, that's amazing!

    Quick morning visit as I eat my porridge before work, late start today. Just WI, and FINALLY hit the 6kg (13lb) loss, with 1.1kg this week (2.4lb). My scales only weigh kg unfortunately! Anyway, it's taken me 9 weeks to get there which is disappointing, but I know I had way too many meals out and wobbles, and couldn't exercise for the middle 3 weeks so I'm positive about it! 1lb nex week will take me to 1st loss :)

    Will post meals later, and will be doing run two of couch to 5k!

    Have a good day losers :D

  • Well done to the above who lost 5lbs! :O so jealous!!

    Bet the sheets were lifting off your bed that week ;)

    I asked this in an earlier post but does anybody know anyways of staying reasonably good whilst on holiday in Europe. My first Week is in Germany and the portions are HUGE. Anybdoy know any good ways to keeping slightly on track? what best days etc?

    thanks!

  • Hi all, can I join you all please? :wave:

    I joined a local SW group a while ago and managed to lose 8lbs, but DH went on nights at work and I wasn't able to go, then one thing led to another and I ended up coming off it completely. I don't just come off a 'diet' with style, I do it spectacularly!! :rotfl: I'm a typical yo yo dieter but really want to change this

    Well my lightbulb moment has hit home when I was shown a 10 or so year old photo of myself in front of a few friends, and their reactions, well lets just say the look on their faces just said it all. I was horrified :(

    However, onwards and upwards I say. I understand the diet fully but the consultant at the local group is rubbish. She has no zest for the diet at all, a lady at the group asked how many syns were in a can of some drink, and her reply? -"I don't know as I don't drink it." Surely she should have looked into it? Anyway I'm hoping for some like-minded support from you lovely lot and hoping I become a regular poster on here...

    I have 5 stone to lose:eek: so it's an almighty amount, there is no time limit or rush, I will just be sensible and try every day to stay away from the goodies that got me to this fat place!
    I may need lots of help with this :rotfl:
    Thanks for reading! :T

  • Well done Losers!!

    Lemonade, is there another group you can go to? There is two consultants round here, one I didn't like and one I think is fab, which makes such a difference x

  • Well I lost a pound last night, definitely good that it is going in the right direction and given that I had a hen party on Saturday it is good for me. I am really enjoying going to my group, as I do the weighing bit I get to celebrate and commiserate with people and I really feel like I am getting to know people.

    Just a tip; I made the roulade on Tuesday and put the little leftover piece (I had stuffed people with the main course!) into a washed up Muller tub and left it in the fridge. I just ate it and it was lovely, like a trifle. The meringue bit was like a sponge and the filling which I made with the quark and a vanilla and choc muller mixed beautifully with the blackberries I used. I thought it would be great as an individual pudding for a dinner party if you did it in layers (you could add an extra sprinkle of choc on for a special occasion) or doing what I did and taking it in for lunch as a (pretty much) syn free treat.

    Hope everyone is well!
