Well day started off well until I bought lunch - the 'best' thing I could see - an egg & cress sarnie - turned out to be 14 syns - two lots of cakes I just didn't even try and resist at work and 54 syns later I've given up completely. Due on so that doesn't help this situation but I'm going to give up my red week and have a green day tomorrow as I don't have anything in to eat on a red and think I need the stodge.
    Sorry, rambling now.
    C xx
  • LOL (what are we like?)

Skint Catt - Start again tomorrow - ready made sandwiches are loaded with 'hidden' synns - at least you know now even though it's too late for today. No good beating yourself up. Good luck.

Trouble is all the 'salads' were pasta with lots of sauces - so I guess I take my own lunch or I do without from now on :(
I will start again tomorrow x
  • :T:j Success I made my 10 veg spag bol special tonight and hubby loved it. Little does he know it has 10 different veg in the sauce (he has a veg phobia and it is usualy impossible to get him to eat ANY, even his mum has trouble, always has). Even I admit it was delicious and there was enough sauce and mince beef left over to freeze for another day. The sauce would also make a great soup so I must remember this one!

Tomorrows challenge is Cottage pie (veg n mince) with root veg mash, thats going to be a tricky disguise orange mash !

    :D

Weighed myself this morning and i am in the 9sts:T 9st 13 to be exact, but still under 10st:D

My first mini goal is to get to 9st 7. I want to be under 8st 10 by christmas. Is that realistic?

Well done to all the other losers.

Morning all. I put on 1lb at WI last night...not bad considering so I was a happy chappy! I'm going to try for another week of red and green days as I lost 2lbs last time I did that.

It looks like I have a wedding to plan for!!!!!!!! So I'd like to get rid of my last few pounds (4 to go to my target but may go for a couple more for the wedding!) before I start trying on dresses which will probably be when my Mum is on half term in October.

I'm another one who's studying part time, I go one morning a week on a foundation degree in World Class Manufacturing! How boring does that sound?! I already have a degree in Chemistry and I'm only doing this one for what I can learn rather than the qualification. So, this morning is Uni day so I have a special snack with me to stop me from caving in when the rest of the group have their bacon and sausage butties in the break!

I'm going for a green day:

    brekkie - porridge (HEA&B)
Snack - nectarine & kitkat (4.5? need to check)
Lunch - small jacket spud, beans, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, jelly (0.5), yogurt, mixed berries.
Tea - rosemary & tomato chicken (HEB =1 syn), mash, veggies
My other HEA will be milk in tea.

    Morning everyone.

I need to do weigh in this morning so will post an update in a bit. Fingers crossed for me I am hoping for something decent as despite posted plans (which always seem to change when I can't be bothered to cook i.e. yesterday) I have eaten mostly fruit vegetables this week with a smattering of meat and carbs.

    Today. EE
    B - 2 toast (B) Butter (1.5) marmite (F)
    L - Veggie rice/JP/Couscous (F) salad (F) smoked salmon/Ham /F) quark (F)
    Mid aft - 2 ryvita (3) quark (F) Ham (F)
    D - Spanish chicken (F) Steamed Veg (F)
    Even - Maybe fruit

Not sure about today as I start teaching today and I have lessons 5-7pm at the students house so won't get back til about 7.30 then it will be tea time.

    Off to the scales....
