  • I thought you were writing a recipe to start with, and got scared :rotfl::rotfl::o

    Evening everyone

Was quite sore this morning after yesterdays efforts, but it's worn off during the day so I'm not giving up!

    B - porridge heb + 1/3 hea skim milk
L - bacon omelette with tomatoes and cucumber
D - prawn risotto with courgettes and tomatoes
Banana, apple and nectarine with 1/2 mullerlight

Crap, just noticed I need to have a crackerbread with the porridge too, will have that with dairylea for the rest of my hea

syns quavers 4.5 twix 5.5 for 10. Didn't actually have my quavers yesterday, so was 4.5 down on estimate :)

I can see why you'd be scared. It didn't c&p very well but that's cos I was doing it at work (slap) and that's when I don't get paras too, nor can I edit anything. Someone else here has the same prob I think. We are allowed a certain amount of online time, not much. Now, you've just reminded me I need to have a ryvita or something, oh I really don't want anything else fibrous :(,I'm not a lover of bread or bready stuff :( poo. I wanted to have my frozen muller toffee, not a boring ole ryvita.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Thanx for your warm welcome dizzyk.... (glad I made you giggle!!) I feel at home here already. MAde soup for work this week (well, last 2 days anyway) so did, passata, water, onion, carrot, celery, lentils, oxo, chilli flakes, herbs, sweetner stuff, peppers (red, green and yellow). Contains a lot of speed foods....... I will see how it goes!!!!
Despite today being WI I have been really good........ I will lose that "extra bum" 2lb of a time if that's what it takes. As my mum says, look at the scales this week, and then say to yourself, that's the last time I am going to see that number!!!

Weren't you been on here a while ago? I thought I recognised the name.

Yes Inazuma I found this site so helpful before and now I am back hanging my head in shame wishing Id just stuck at it. Oh well a lesson learnt me thinks
  • Hello all,

WI tonight and put 1/2 ON!!! 3lb over target now. Do other target members have a problem staying within 3lbs of target? Only got within target again last week after months so really don't want to be out of it again and start paying. I knew I'd put it on cos my scales show exactly same as ones at class but I really have been good this week (very frustrating)

Vexie-pixie - So sorry you're so stressed (understandably). Good advice given but one thing I would say about sorting out debt worries - use one of Martins suggested places (on main site). Make sure you look after your health as a priority.

Sian - water retention causes fluctuations in weight but I find it impossible to keep off my scales even knowing this!!!! Try to have more will power than me and stay off if you can.

    Welcome to all newbies.

  • Hi Daisy,

I thought I wouldn't be on my own with the scales thing. Last week I even asked OH to put mine on top of the wardrobe so I couldn't jump on and off but being a man he's not got round to it yet!!!!! - may be this week.

Same here in the changes from morning to evening - if only we could weigh in without our clothes first thing in the morning! I even get on in different clothes just to see which is the lightest (sad or what?) Good luck this week.
  • Had a wispa so my total syns for the day is 14.

Also made my lunch for uni tomorrow, i have to leave the house at about 7.45am and dont think i would be faffed doing it in the morning.

  • Hi there - first of all Vixie-Pixie :grouphug::grouphug:- I haven't got anything to add to all the sage advice from the OPs, but thinking of you.

Had a good day and made it to the gym. Had a weird thing happen last night - was at a meeting where an osteopath was giving a talk and I ended up being the demo body. He was showing how you can manipulate a foot and my foot made a major crack - so much so that the group did a whoo intake of breath...... I laughed it off but it is the same foot as my achilles thing, and today it has been a bit tender! May have to track him down to crack it back again! Anyway - managed to do 30 minutes cardio without the foot hurting, and did my weights whilst on the bike. I also did my press ups on the swiss ball and 3 sets of the plank.

Hope everyone is doing OK - god to hear about all the losses, even if the recipients have been a bit disappointed. A loss is a loss!

    hey ho.

PS - the dynorod pasta sauce sounds like a fab idea! Will try it tomorrow! x
