  • experiment coming up:very low fat natural yogurt lentils, all varieties rice aubergine broccoli mushrooms onions butternut squash tomatoes melon, all varieties pineapple plums yup it worked. I c&p from my online diary. That's all my free food so far today. You can see most of it is also superfree, and my HEs have been skimmed milk and some all bran (I will have a ryvita or scan bran tonight because 42g of all bran is way too much along with fruit and yog for breakfast, so I weigh out 21g). I just know this will be all one para even though I have put paras into my typing :( oh well.

I thought you were writing a recipe to start with, and got scared :rotfl::rotfl::o

    Evening everyone

Was quite sore this morning after yesterdays efforts, but it's worn off during the day so I'm not giving up!

    B - porridge heb + 1/3 hea skim milk
L - bacon omelette with tomatoes and cucumber
D - prawn risotto with courgettes and tomatoes
Banana, apple and nectarine with 1/2 mullerlight

Crap, just noticed I need to have a crackerbread with the porridge too, will have that with dairylea for the rest of my hea

syns quavers 4.5 twix 5.5 for 10. Didn't actually have my quavers yesterday, so was 4.5 down on estimate :)

well done on the loss :D

when I do my spag bols I always use a carton of passata aswell as the tinned toms & 1/4 tsp sweetner as toms can be bitter (it seems to have more flavour this way) I also use chicken stock cubes or chicken bovril....this seems to help with the blandness ;)
also fine chopped celery & carrot add flavour & great for superfee

Thanks dizzy.... my basic spag bol is mince/quorn, tin of chopped toms, onion, garlic, tom puree, grated carrots, courgette (bit weird but adds healthiness!), 2 stock cubes (veg as thats what i had in the cupboard) and usually worcester sauce but i don't have any... will try adding more toms as there was a LOT of mince! and the sweetener tip is a good one :D

First WI and I've lost 2lb. It's movement in the right direction, I guess, but I lost 6lb in week 1 last time I did SW. :( Anyway, will see if I've turned into a fortnightly loser and may have a better loss this week - am determined not to view it as a negative - it's far too early for that!! :D

I think it's often the case when people have dieted before.

The first time you begin a campaign to lose weight, you often change from sugar to sweeteners, full fat milk to semi or skimmed, butter to low-fat spread etc etc.

For many of us, these changes remain, even when we've abandoned the 'diet' so next time you try to lose weight, there aren't as many good changes to make (does that make sense?)

Stick with it though......1½lbs every week would be brilliant and adds up to an amazing 6 stone in a year :j

forgot to say I use a good sprinkling of italian mixed herbs & the passata sieved tomatoes are free the same as toms are.

Well done on all the losses & BIG hugs for all who need it.

Hubby has told son to phone him from now on to stop me stressing out. Don't think it will make any difference, will still stress when I find out :rotfl:. He had to go pick him up again as his friend went home ill so had no-one to go home with.
Was talking to colleague today about how anxious I have become especially since the summer hols. Every little thing stresses me out big time and I don't know why. I do suffer with depression but no way do I want to go back to the meds [weight gain :(].

    Anyway food today:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, cous cous loaf, toms, babybel [a], crisps [5]
T - quorn pasta bol, cauli, loads of onions, peas, oil spray [1]
Snacks - apples, pineapple, melon, muller, meringue [2.5]
    Syns - 8.5
Need another b but not got room :o

Quiz n chips on friday so will be on best behaviour till then :D.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi everyone I need your support pretty please I went back to SW today I havent been since the 9th Dec last year when I had lost 33lbs between the May and Dec. When I went back today I found out Ive put on 10lbs :( gutted but I knew it was coming its my own greedy fault. So first thing tomrrow a new leaf is turned - I am going to try the extra easy to give me a kick but its all a bit double dutch to me at the mo so please bear with me. Looking forward to reading the posts and getting to know you all - good luck everyone and well done x
Weren't you been on here a while ago? I thought I recognised the name.
  • Hello everyone,
Vixie_Pixie, I can't add much more to the advice people have already given you, but I am thinking of you.

Totally knackered today after my late night last night, although the play was great and the students loved it. Doing it again next Tuesday, must be mad.
OH is going to France for 9 days with his father. I was getting really wound up about it, but have decided to try to be glass half full about the whole thing. My SIL will be helping out with the kids and I am aiming to plan great meals with masses of superfree foods. It will be easier without OH around! So I have printed off the famous Dyno-rod soup and am working out what I have in and what I need to get. Look out...
