Bought new mag today, am doing speedy bangers and beans for hubbys lunch tomorrow. Will bung it in slow cook so should last a couple days. He won't have quorn so normal sausages will be going in. Not as healthy but the rest will be
. He can decide what to have with it i.e mash, rice or pasta. Will have a load of onion in although not in recipe. Mr A had 5kg of onions for less than £2 so it'll be onions with EVERYTHING this week :rotfl:

Hi everybody!
Have had a long weekend. Friday was taken on a mystery tour by hubby, had to leave house at 6am! Ended up in Dorset near Blanford at the steam engine festival. Walked non stop up and down the hill for 5 hours, took loads of water with me and drank the lot, all 12 bottles (had to keep stoppig for the loo all day as water tends to go straight through me). Took loads of fruit to keep me going throught the day and a cheese ploughmans sandwich for lunch, had lightly dusted cod and LC chips with peas and sweetcorn for dinner. Was exhausted!
Saturday stared decorating the hallway and did my 1 hr on exercise bike!
Today I have had a day off exercise  but did manage a walk with hubby and doggies and also sanded down the radiator in the hall lol then had roast chicken and italian style salad plus chunky potato wedges and a toasted WW bagel for dinner and a WW frozen toffee swirl pot for pud, first treat all week (hubby and MIL had a Tesco Choccy Sunday). Delicious!!!!
Looking foward to trying some of the recipies in the latest SW mag over next few weeks. Have a good week everyone!
First Weigh In tomorrow :eek:Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.

hello everyone i have finally found the new thread !!
just to let you all know i am going to be trying extra easy for a while to see if my rubbish losses are due to overdoing it with cereal bars
ie 2 x HEBs (usually fibre plus)
1xalpen light 3 syns
1xhi fi / fibre plus 6 syns
think that is pushing it a bit
am hoping that by restricting these and upping my superfrees i might actually see a loss !
still 1.5lb and tuesday is my next WI after missing a week so should be interesting
sorry to have come on here and rambled but i have it on good authority that's what you're all here for0 -
Morning ladies! I'm bright and early today as I'm working 6am till 2pm then going camping :j although the weather forecast suggests that little happy jumpy man should be wearing wellies and splashing in puddles!!! We've booked 3 nights initially but if it turns out to be better weather than expected we may stay an extra 2 nights. I'm hoping it's not too bad as we're going up to the lakes (so probably wishful thinking!!!) and we want to do loads of fell walking. My meal plan for today is a bit different to usual as for brekkie and lunch I'm using up what was left in the fridge/cupboard after I sorted out the camping food. I think it probably fits EE best:
Brekkie - Banana, fibre plus bar (6)
Lunch - wholemeal pitta (HEB), chicken, Stuffing (3), light mayo (2), beetroot, tomatoes, jelly (0.5)
Tea - chilli, rice, cheese (HEA), salad
Snacks - plums, yogurt with mixed berries.
Hopefully I'll stick pretty much to plan while I'm away. I've got either porridge or eggs/bacon/mushrooms for brekkies. One night we're having a BBQ for tea with HM burgers and spicy chicken and salad, tonight is the chilli and the other night we'll go out. If we decide to stay longer I'll have to find a supermarket to stock up! It's the lunches that may let me down slightly but I've got all free or low syn stuff so hopefully shouldn't be too bad. Hopefully we'll do enough fell walking to make up for any little excesses!!!0 -
Enjoy your camping trip Lisa :j
Not that great for me yesterday again as I succumbed to the biscuits again and probably went 10 over :wall: God I need to stick to this im failing
Today: again: EE
Breakfast fruit and yog ( strawbs and banana)
Early lunch 1- HM butternut squash soup with WM roll ( HEB)
Lunch couscous salad ( radish, onion, grilled courgette, peppers, grillled mushrooms) with mushrooms a la greque ( last portion from freezer)
Dinner- jacket potato, salad, ribs which I *think* are 6, might do the last beetroot to roast as well, but will try in frylite as last time it was a bit oily using normal olive oil plus the syns.
HEA milk
Syns: Ribs, dime bar.
NO MORE THAN THAT- PLEASE!!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hello everyone,
Can I join your thread please.
I have been doing SW for about 5 years.I lost 3& half stone to get to target in November 2006 but due to complacency have put about a stone back on
I havnt been to class for three weeks as have been on holidays so have to go and get weighed this morning to find out exactly what I have been up to over the past 3 weeks:eek::eek:
I want to get back down to my target weight before christmas and think I may pick up some new ideas from you all.
I also hope that I can contribute some ideas to you.I have been to different classes over the years and am amazed at some of the different recipes that come out of them.
I prefer to stick with green days mostly as I can fill up quickly on carbs.Have tried EE but find I eat far too much....just because I can:D...
Anyway...must get ready now.....will be back later with the bad news;)
Good luck on your journeys.
Love Mollypollyxxxx:happylove :happylove
