Hi everyone
I'm not able to come here regularly but when I do I find lots of inspiration from you all.
I started SW in June this year and so far have lost 8lbs. Been away for 4 weeks and only put on a 1lb but I felt sure that I had put it all back on as I felt even heavier. So really chuffed about that.
It is so hard though losing weight.
Will try and come on here more
Best of luck to all0 -
Hey vixie, you could try an use quark instead of cream cheese to save on syns I did this and it worked really well ( although you might not have any in)
OH is pressuring me to go to the shop for "chocolate crisps, just junk for sundays" and I am desperately trying to resist but I have to say im STARVIN MARVIN again and im not too sure why but I think the bread roll might have had something to do with it
Hey Lynz how is the fight against the OH in the fancy dress fairy costume going
my 1st day on reds.....and ive been starving since I ate my breakfast fryup .....as soon as id had my lunch I stuck some asda free spicy chicken in the oven to snack on this aft......is this lack of carbs or purely all in my head I wonder????
Ive already cooked tea at lunchtime too ready to just stick back in the oven0 -
SkintGypsy wrote: »Hi ladies, and maybe gents!
I am interested in the plan and intend to start cooking in a Slimming World fashion from now on, however I am super confused about the rules and think I probably need the manual! I know you get this from the consultant, but I don't intend to do the classes, so can anyone advise what I need to get started?
Many thanks
Gypsy x
Hi Gypsy, if you go to the 1st page of this thread Consultant posted the 'rules' so this should help you.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

It was never like this when I did SW before! And I'm not drinking that much more than pre SW either

our old consultant used to say it was a really good sign if you were up in the night at the loo a lot.....it meant good losses usually
Any news on how your friends op went yet? x0 -
Dizzy, quick question about my supermarket. How does it work? I checked Tesco and there were a few bargins like:
345 cal / 100g
per 100g345Cal2.0g
Fat0.4g
Sat Fat2.0g
SugarTrace
SaltMORE INFO
B£4.66 £2.00
(6.7p / 100g)
Tesco Conchiglie Pasta Shells (3Kg)
But when I went to Tesco this wasn't on offer. Am finding Mr Ts confusing anyway as it says one price on the shelves and a different price at the till [usually cheaper otherwise I'd complain].

I sometimes get like that on red days. I snack on ham, boiled eggs, chicken bits along with fruit and yogs during the day to keep the boiler stoked.
If you had some prawns in you could make up a batch of prawn mayo (with the hellman's ex light stuff) to have on crackerbreads if you haven't had your HEB already. . . . *adds this to red day meal plan*All hail to the sale!!!!!!

the offers run I think up to friday nights.....siggn up to be emailed of the offers.
when you see that pound sign It usually means there is a switch and save available (similar product....cheaper) click the sign and it will bring the item up. plus you can also at the top of the page just jump between the supermarkets to see if they are doing items cheaper.....handy for me as I have asda & sains right next door to each other0 -

Phew.....thought I was just losing the plot or had a hole in my stomach somewhere where I was losing what id eaten lol !!
Also....on reds/greens.....do you still do the 1/3 superfree thing? I seem to remember from my years gone by SW days, that I just ate copious packets of ham/eggs/seafood sticks as much as poss or on green loads of pasta sauce, beans, rices, egg, quorn and then started on the other stuff.0 -
Thanks takeiteazy, but I am so clueless I have no idea what syns are or what green or red days are. Where can I find this? Sorry if I am being dense!Debt free as of July 2010 :j

With red days i tend to. Last night for example my dinner consisited of 2 x HM beef burgers with relish, gherkins, mayo and a massive pile of salad with my 3 babybel lights broken up on top. I usually use my HEBs for cereal, crispbreads or cereal bars so i dont have potato, pasta, beans etc as a HEB with my main meals.
With my green days i dont tend to have 1/3 superfree. I dont leave them out entirely but it works out i have about 1/4 superfree on a green day.All hail to the sale!!!!!!
