Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

    Morning All

I had a lovely day out yesterday....tho it was a little chillier than it was the day before (it was great in the car with the top down with the heaters keeping me toasty warm:D)

we didnt end up at the coast.....we headed into the dales (lots of little fayres going off dotted about in the villages at the mo) and the scenery is lovely.

Stopped at a fab little 'on the village green chippy' in Addingham and sat outside eating fish and chips but I was really good and took the batter off and ate this at the end omg it really just was too nice :owhile we were eating a load of ducks waddled over the road to us and were feeding from our hands, really friendly.....so OH went and bought them a seperate portion lol. Then (hang my head in shame) I had a rum & raisin dales Ice cream:eek: twas the best ice cream I have ever tasted tho so IMO worth the syns;)

soooooo it will definately have to put down as a flexible day ...... but I dont regret one morsel of it :D (if it had been a mc D or another load of choccie I would be kicking myself today)

Today I am going to attempt a red day I think.....one question tho as Its been a long time since I did red or greens - do you still have to do the 1/3 superfree rule?
  • Dizzy you crack me up (and also make me feel better about cramming the pork fat and rind into my gob at the pigroast last night!) - I think on red and green you don't HAVE to do the one-third superfree thing, but it is said if you DO it will be better.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I *think* you dont have to have 1/3rd superfree on red days, but the booklet isnt 100% clear?

ps totally dont blame you for the batter i lurvvve batter :o

yes they are all free but the peach is 1/2 a syn so I found out at class on thurs (I think its in the new mag re this) ;)
  • Found the new post - noticed fitorbust's comments on the old one re the carbonara - I made this one too it is yummy and got the pass from my son who's favourite meal was always mum's carbonara. I did mine with gammon steak fried up with onion and then used my HEa to add some cheese. Also re mullets I thought the chocolate sprinkle vanilla and orange were free just the cherry layer one which is 2 sins. I believe the cheesecake ones are synned but too sweet for me so never looked them up.

I'm away to car boot shortly to stock up on holiday books yeay
