    Ha! I found you! :D

I am glad someone has finally mentioned the C word.. no not chips... CHRISTMAS!! I for one really really really look forward to Christmas. I am probably one of those people that annoy everyone else :p

If anyone on here was ever on the Boots 75% off sale thread then they will know that i have xmas gifts covered. I now have to focus on xmas food...

I really do not want to gain too much over christmas. In my house we have many buffets, and my mum makes amazing mince pies...i also drink far too much alcohol... :o Atm I am currently divising ideas for SW friendly buffet food.... i am hoping the mag thats out close to xmas will give me plenty of ideas!!

Yesterday was the start of "vixie's mission to be on plan 100% again" and i have to say it went well! lol

    Today is EE

B - 28g Shreddies (part heb) with milk (hea) raspberries and banana.
Cup of tea (milk from hea) with 1 w/g crackerbread (part heb) with nutella (1.5)

Snack - nibbled on tortilla chips (WHY?) = 3.5syns, satsuma.

L/D - Roast lamb (fat removed) SW roast pots, carrots, parsnips, squash and cabbage. (Its cooking now and smells amazing!) (1 syn for oil) EDIT 2 syns for gravy

We have picked the plums off our plum tree, plus i bought some greengages from morrisons last week. I am going to do a take on the Plum Jellies recipe from the Mag. Except i am only using 1 type of jelly and i am gonna add raspberries to it! (1syn for the jelly) Plus am gonna put 2 syns worth of squirty cream on the top! Yum! (3)

taster of mum's HM plum pie = 1 syn (was a v v small spoonful!)

That means i have (EDIT- 3 syns) left for the evening. I have some ham in the fridge so think i'm gonna use 1.5 (EDIT 0.5) syns on some asda light herby cream cheese (mixed with quark) and make ham wraps which will be served with my own home pickled gherkins :D and a sliced hard boiled egg. (not having my tortilla's now to save syns - will have extra ham instead :))
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Hey vixie, you could try an use quark instead of cream cheese to save on syns I did this and it worked really well ( although you might not have any in) :)

OH is pressuring me to go to the shop for "chocolate crisps, just junk for sundays" and I am desperately trying to resist but I have to say im STARVIN MARVIN again and im not too sure why but I think the bread roll might have had something to do with it :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Ooh lynz... i have some that needs using up! I can mix my 1.5 syns of cream cheese into it and live off it for the next few days :) I can count 0.5 syns then!! Good thinking!! :D

Hello everyone. I figured I'd say hi since we have a new thread. I was around a year or so ago and have been quietly reading again for the last week or so.

I've been back on plan for nearly 2 weeks now and I lost 2.alb my first week.

I didn't have a good day yesterday. We had stocktake in work and there were loads of sandwiches and sweet treats like flapjacks, muffins toffees etc for us to eat through the night and I couldn't resist. I was just eating for the sake of eating. Today is another day so back on track although I bought some of the sandwiches home and the are calling me from the fridge.

Tea is going to be roast lamb. It's one of those ready to roast things so for the whole thing it will be 5 syns. I haven't decided whether to go red or extra easy yet but I'll be have cauli, broccoli and green beans with it. May have new potatoes or I may pop to the shop and get some cabbage.

    I'm not very decisive today.
  • Hi ladies, and maybe gents!

I am interested in the plan and intend to start cooking in a Slimming World fashion from now on, however I am super confused about the rules and think I probably need the manual! I know you get this from the consultant, but I don't intend to do the classes, so can anyone advise what I need to get started?

    Many thanks

    Great losses MrsM and Guns:D

My weigh-in is in the morning, although I have had a blip or two this week so we shall see!
It is also my wedding anniversary tomorrow so I want to make a nice dinner for after the kids have gone to bed. I am thinking I will do a Red day, and stick with a nice peice of steak or Gammon with 2 x HEb's of potato and a load of veg. Followed up with some Onken strawberry yogurt over strawbs and berries.

Probably won't bother with a starter, and we won't be drinking (much, if at all) as A) school run in the morning and B) I am still having to do night feeds with the baby. I should be fine....I might see if I can find some of those cadbury light chocolate trifles?/mousses? that were in the last mag and have two desserts:D

    xx

  • 12 Syns for the 45g Milka bar I just scoffed! Oh know and I didn't even savour it with a milky coffee! Shame on me

    Found it on minimini
  • Does anyone know whether the constant needing the loo ever stops?! :rotfl: This is my 4th week on plan, been 100% (bar one day where I went over syns but was within weekly limit), and I am still getting up 2-3 times a night for the loo, and I seem to have been a million times already today?! It was never like this when I did SW before! And I'm not drinking that much more than pre SW either
