Am recovering from a stressful afternoon when the wheels fell off son getting home from college. He was late back from a trip and his lift couldn't wait, so told him to get bus but he'd not got enough money even though he was given it for emergencies  so ran round like a headless chook to find someone to go pick him up. Mum to the rescue thank god :D, am dreading next week when work times change.

    Food:
    B - weetabix , milk [a] coffee
    L - wm roll , cheese [half a], p/onion, s/cream [.5], babybel [half a], toms, crisps [5]
    T - mash, beans, onions, toms, b/sauce [1]
    Snacks - apple, melon, muller
    Syns - 6.5

I had to read this twice as I thought the wheels REALLY fell off! :rotfl:

My food today has been a bit hit and miss - any comments welcome...

    B - 1/2 tin of beans, 2 slices of vogels toast (b)
    L - apple, dynorod soup.
snack - 2 slices of lean ham, orange.
D - Fish from fish shop and mushy peas (13 syns), apple (couldn't get home as had a meeting straight from work so this was the least damaging),
    snack - solero (5 syns).
Haven;t had my healthy a as I am sensitive to dairy so have to be careful. I may have a syn free yoghurt before I go to bed.

18 syns for a day that could have been a lot worse - hey ho.

Thanks - I could take some Krisprolls (HEb) & Laughing cow (HEa) but that won't fill me up for lunch. Might get some cooked chicken (again - 2 portions of chix today) but how can you tell which ham is free or not? :o Don't like ryvita or seafood sticks I'm afraid!

    1st wi tonight - lost 2.5lb

am happy with that but i thought it would be more in the 1st week.
  • Hi h007, that's a really good start, not everyone has huge losses in first week but stick at it and you'll be fine. Pick up a bag of sugar and think you've lost 1/4lb more!!!! Good luck for next week.
  • Well done h007, I only lost 1.5lbs after my first week :). Have you been following the Extra Easy plan?
  • hi everyone
my goodness what a lot to catch up on !!

co-op are doing 5 activia fat free yogurts for £1:j

flutterby when i do cous-cous i fry light courgettes, tomatoes and peppers together in a big pan , then once they are just cooked i make up some veg stock with some curry powder and pour that in the pan. then i throw in the cous-cous and chickpeas if the mood takes me . yummy yum yum :)

i lost 1lb this week , going to start exercising now , so expecting things to slow down again.

good wishes to all it would take me all night to list you all :)
  • Hello everyone,

I seriously can't find the time to read all the posts at the moment. I do feel bad about coming on and posting my losses without acknowledging other people's successes, but if you have lost, congratulations.

I managed 1.5lb this week despite a whole weekend at a festival, where I was drinking white wine spritzers with full fat lemonade for most of the day so I'm pleased.

Going to really try to have a really good week this week though.
