hola! sorry i've not been around much ladies and gents. i've been lurking but it's not been a very good eating weekend so i thought i'd keep quiet! today is a new day, i always find weekdays really easy but when it comes to the weekend, all my hard work seems to come undone. :(

    Green day today;
b - melon, mango, kiwi, banana fruit salad and muller
l - baked spud and beans
d - stir fried veggies, using all the ones on the turn!

    HEA - milk
HEB - fibre plus x 2 (if i can get one at the corner shop :\)

    hope you're all well. xx

Rats, well that's another thing I won't be eating on a red day then! Am going to be very hungry! Are the linc & cumberland versions still 0.5 or are they 1 now?

    C xx

Ive been trying to do red days last week (and was hoping to carry on as many as I could)to see if it would shake my weight loss up a bit for the couple of dodgy weeks with the ahem go slow on the old bowel probs. but ive been sooooooo hungry all the time :o plus ive found it very expensive!

You could do what I did for the sausage and go to sains and get some extra lean pork mince to make your own saus? there was a recipe in the latest mag but it used turkey aswell & my OH is real fussy so I made some just for him with pork, fine chopped onion and some fine chop chives just to break the meat texture up a bit.....they were lush :p ......and free ;) x

Morning all, thanks for all the lovely comments about my willpower with the sausage rolls and plum crumble! Unfortunately it didn't last long....I'm a nightmare when face with a buffet!! Today will be a bit difficult to as it's tea at OH's mum's which could be anything!!! I'll have to go EE as I'll never manage to fit it to green or red unless I'm very lucky!!!

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - lentil & veg soup, Homegrown tomatoes, yogurt
    tea - ?
    Snacks - nectarine

I'll probably end up with about a million syns too!!!

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well at the start of this shiney new week:)
I've decided to take the lunge and try to start following SW using the books I have at home (which are a bit old but will do me for now). I'm not having my blood test until the 21st for the doctor to refer me and I think if I wait til then I may lose my momentum!
I'm going to try EE because it sounds like it may do what it says on the tin. So today I have brought to work with me, 3 apples and 3 bananas (mainly for breakfast). A huge salad with a tin of tuna. I've got a big pot of fat free yoghurt (I think this is free???) and two mug shotz (they're listed as free in the book I have but only two flavours....I think this may be because they only did two flavours back then?)
I know my breakfast is a bit shakey and I should probably have some crispbreads or something as my healthy extras but I'm going to do a bit more of a shop tomorrow. For tea tonight I'm going to have spag bol with lean drained mince, loads of peppers, onions and tomatoes (I may put sweetcorn and green beans in mine just to up the veg side)
Am I on the right track? I was going to make a tub of macaroni rice with veg in it to snack on and then I had a bit of a panic that it may not be free so I didn't. I still seem to have an awful lot of food with me tho:)

Hi Gizmo, my only comments would be:you don't have to have your HEB at breakfast, it can be any time (a packet of Ryvita minis for supper is one of my standbys!)other than that it looks fine, don't forget at least one third (ALOT)superfree - and beans/rice/peas/potatoes don't count as superfree. But with all the fruit you are noshing you should be fine :)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

went online to put in my food diary and it has changed over to the pin system. so i cant get on it until i get my pin at class tomorrow.

so far today i have had
    ee
b- 2 alpen light (heb), muller light

for lunch i have the last of my mixed veg pasta with cut up babybel (hea) in it. and some grapes.
  • thanks blackberry, that's my concern, 1/3 superfree is alot which is why I'm adding veg to everything I can, I can see it's going to lead to some strange combinations until I get my shopping sorted and my head round it all :-)

I thought the same as you when I went on this morning but if you go right to the bottom of the page it says "click here if you don't have your PIN yet" and then goes to another page for you to put in the Group Password.

  • Dizzyk - can I ask how many syns per square of dairy milk/caramel dairy milk please? I have two HUGE bars left from my birthday, that have been winking at me and the temptation will get me in the end. I much prefer your idea of a planned nibble at 8pm, rather than devouring the whole lot when I can take it no more.

    Thanks
    Alfie
