Sorry -nearly forgot...
I try and avoid asparthame as much as possible too -and the activia intensley creamy don't have it in ...I checked mine but they are made in Germany -so i looked on line and this is the list of ingredients for the UK ones (there are more things in them than the German ones -but no asparthame)
Ingredients Yogurt With Bifidus Actiregularis [whole Milk, Milk Protein, Cream (1.1%), Skimmed Milk Concentrate, Yogurt Cultures], Sugar (8.7%), Peach (8%), Stabilisers (Modified Maize Starch, Pectin, Guar Gum), Flavourings, Acidity Regulators (Citric Acid, Calcium Citrate), Colour (Paprika Extract).
They are stunning but NOT free -they are 2.5syns each -but I would pay more than that for them as they are scrumdiddlyunptious :T
DizzyK -do you take acetazolomide(sp?) by chance? only the effect you mentioned with fizzy pop etc is just what I used to have with those? and it made everything taste really strong -they were damn awful tablets....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I thought the same as you when I went on this morning but if you go right to the bottom of the page it says "click here if you don't have your PIN yet" and then goes to another page for you to put in the Group Password.

Hello
Just popping in to post my meal plan and assure you all that I am still on the SW wagon (depite the huge amounts of cake brought to my new house!)
homemade cake is a hard one to syn, so I am aiming to have syn-free days so i can allow a small slither for dessert and that will be my whole syn allowance for the day - does that make sense?
EE Today:
a banana and an orange
3 ryvita with laughing cow light (heB and 1/2 heA) (was going to have egg and toast but my small wholewheat loaf is covered in mould already! GRR!!)
tea with milk all through the day (1/2 heA)
cucumber and HM hummus (made with total 0% as i dont have any from frais)
dinner will be lean pork stir fried with mixed veg and served with noodles
dessert, small piece of hm sponge cake (syn-o-rific!!)
hope you're all having a good start to the week!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

I often have a meal where veg simply doesnt go at all (like curry and rice.....with cauliflower & carrotts :eek:Yack lol so I would just make sure that I eat some fruit after the meal if poss. But as long as at the end of each day the total volume of what food you have consumed - 1/3 has been superfree then you wont go far wrong.
I agree, there are some meals where it would simply be odd (or odd to me anyway) to add extra, or the "wrong", vegetables. So I either have a salad first or some fruit before or after the meal. It all works outit has to be "do-able" for you, after all.
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Afternoon,
Well done all the losers..
I had a sneaky look on the scales this morning to see if i'd done much damage after last week and unfortunately it looks like i'm up 1lb.. so extra good on most days this week, except Thursdays chinese buffet.
Red day again today.
B - Ham and babybel, milk in tea (HEA)
L - Chicken salad, dressing (1 Syn)
T - Frittata (eggs, sweet potato, onion, bacon and cheese) & salad (HEA & HEB)
S - Clementines, apple, frenchfries (4Syns)
I have an addiction to Diet Coke and i'm now following your discussions about aspartame very closely, i always thought it was the caffiene that was the bad bit in it... I've tried many times to give it up but i'm like a smoker - i ALWAYS go back.
Has anybody given it up successfully here? and what did you replace it with?Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Hello everyone.
It's a bit brighter here today, it's been awful the past few days and the homeless man who keeps loudly shouting random words and noises has moved on from the front of my window :rotfl:
I did plan for an EE day today have ditched it in favour of a GRN as I fancied a Jacket with cheesy beans for lunch so had itWill probably then just do pasta for dinner with a tom sauce, which means I don't need to go to the shops for meat.
GRN
B - 2 toast (B) butter (2) marmite (F)
L - JP (F) Butter (2) cheese (A) beans (F) quark (F)
Mid aft - Bowl of fruit & choc flavoured greek yog (0.5)
D - Pasta in spicy tom sauce (F) leftover salad bits (F) cheese (A)
Even - another bowl of fruit and greek yog (0.5)
Still have a B to use and some syns but never fear they will be scoffed
I think I am going to go back to having my syns as a weekly allowance as I am not doing well with daily for some reason.
I have been on the bike too this morning only 10 mins but wil do another session or 2 later today.
Have a fabulousa day everyone xx"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
The hardest thing I find about the fresh fruit and veg is the cost! I can eat tonnes of the stuff if it's there, but I'm on a strict budget and finding that it's costing quite a lot to keep up with the fruit and veg. Any tips or ideas?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

I was a diet cola addict too until about 4 years ago-I used to clear about 3lt a dayand its not very exciting but I swapped for sparkling water -now on the odd occasion I pick up a small bottle when Im out n about I just can't drink it :j -it makes me sooooo thirsty...

I am sooooo stuffed!:D Have ploughed through my salad and had a few spoonfuls of the yoghurt and couldn't eat any more. The only comment I will make is that I fancy something with a bit of crunch and substance, so must invest in some crispbready things or something tonight, else I'll end up on a bread binge or something
Tonight's meal has changed from spag bol to chicken stir fry (probably). We've got two packs of stir fry veg so loads of SFs (although not a problem now with the tips you've all given me today). My only concern is how many syns are in the sauce we've got (asda szechaun stir fry sauce). I'm sure though that if everything else I eat is free today the sauce shouldn't go over my syn limit
If every day is as easy as today and I lose I'm not going to be able to stop smiling:j0
