TThe rest of the week until WI was going to be as many RED DAYS as possible.....However, seeing as Im feeling the effects of PMT already (and my stomach feeling like my throat has been cut! Im hungry all the pigging time!) Im not sure whats the best way to go??
Reds I can have 2 HEBs = 2 FIBRE PLUS BARS:T but thats all its got going for it.....but I really was interested to see if doing reds would make any difference to my weekly average losses.
Greens I can eat as many comforting carbs as I want:p....however- Ive got my hernia prob to consider and at the moment things are ok 'toilet wise' (prob cos Im eating a whole cauliflower a day lol, and I dont want to end up with a mass gain again thru lack of DYNO ROD visits
Sooooo EE would seem a good choice for the next few days....but it beggars my experiment up bah! flipping PMT & Fairies
I remember on the last thread the fairies came out in force and tried a full scale attack on all of us at the same time too?????0 -
I made the sausages and didnt follow the recipe exactly after the 1st batch.
I made some with just pork & fine chopped onion in and chopped chive......it seemed to break the 'choddiness' up of the meat and make them a much nicer texture to eatand the flavour was lovely too! x
I'm allergic to onions (which really pees me off!) so I was thinking I might try some chopped apple or cooked leek or something in there. Not giving up just yet :rotfl:
Can't comment on green or red, I've only done EE so far. Off for my porridge now, then work!
Have a fairy free day everyone!I have spread my dreams under your feet;

It's my time of the month too but oddly I've had no PMT cravings this month. Usually I crave choc and something salty but nothing this month. I am hungrier though.

morning everyone.
Time of the month is a terror for me too I want to eat everything in sight. Dizzyk maybe you could postpone your experiment? or have you decided they are not for you?
I have been doing a lot of reds (or intended to) but the lack of carbs is making me struggle, along with the cost. I went to green yesterday and will do EE today as I felt myself falling off the wagon and heading towards the 3 kitkat chunkies that are still in the freezer:eek:
Today (EE)
B - 2 toast (B) butter (2) marmite (F)
L - Jacket Pot (F) quark (F) smoked salmon (F) Massive salad (F)
Mid Aft - Fruit & greek yog (F)
D - left over beef casserole (F) steamed veg (F) yorkie pud (5) gravy (2)
Even - fruit & greek yog (F)
so that is 9 syns but a lot of food so I should not need any other nibbles.
Here's to a non fairy day today for us all :T"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
hi,

ee
b - 2 alpen light (heb)
l - wrap (10.5!) with laughing cow (hea) and cucumber
d - pasta with sweetcorn, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion and lemon juice

finding the amount of food abit more bearable now by incorporating my hea+b into my meals

Im more or less convinced that reds arent for me;).....cost wise-it does seem a lot more expensive, My OH seems to be eating a seperate meal from me in the evening now (which wasnt happening on EE) He doesnt like chicken, not keen on steak, doesnt eat huge volumes of veg (so on EE he would have more of the carbs and smaller portion veg) so its proving a bit of a farce at the mo especially as Im still not safe in the kitchen so hes having to do most of it:o
Iv stil got some chicken breasts to cook for today (he will have chilli from the freezer after golf) then Im back on EE I think after today for the carby craving boost......My PMT will really be kicking In by then (OH says hes glad hes back at work as Im starting to get a little grumpy already lol) And Im starting to feel a battle with the fairies coming on too so im getting one of his golf clubs out ready to take a swing at em :rotfl:0 -

Hello all,
I am fairly new to all this having joined SW 3 weeks ago but I have been reading through your posts - you lot move quickly! What a lot of posts per day!
I do have a query though which is causing me to fret when it comes to the sweet things. My family don't have aspartame (the sweetner found in most diet products including drinks and Mullerlights and so on)
I have spent a LONG time reading labels and have now found that slimline tonic water has neither sugar nor aspartame so have solved the drinking problem (plain water was getting a bit dull).
Now I have a yoghurt dilema. Without Mullerlights to dip into my husband and I are craving sweet stuff other than fruits in the evening.
We have tried natural yoghurt (yuk) and added sucralose sweetner (mmnn) but it is not really hitting the spot. Does anyone have any sweet treat ideas that don't involve aspartame/sugar but have a low syn count?
Any ideas would be brilliant.
Many thanks

Hi! Just read this and I may be able to help!
I did a chinese cookery course a while ago, and we did the minced pork in lettuce leaves - using iceberg lettuce.
We were taught to loosen an outside leaf and hold it under a running tap so it gently filled with water. Then the weight of the water brought it off in one piece!
Good eh?!
Hope this helps0
