What type of thing did you eat pre-SW? Maybe we can give you some ideas to modify them to fit the diet
i pretty much ate for meals what i would eat on slimming world, jacket potatoes, shepherds pie, roast dinners with quorn, pasta with tomato based sauce. With the addition of large quantaties of chocolate, sweets, cakes and icecream:eek:. I was bored of what i was eating then and i'm still bored of it now.0 -

This is going to sound really stupid but how do you cook a stir fry??
I tried to do one tonight, I had chicken, a pack of stir fry veg from the supermarket and some noodles. I chopped the chicken, cooked that in the wok with some fry light then put the veg in and cooked that and added the cooked noodles and some soy sauce.
It did not taste of anything, even the veg was tasteless mush.
Any suggestions???0 -
I lost 2lb this week:j very happy with that.
The meeting was great - more of a social night with everyone bringing homemade syn free soup to taste - drinks provided and breads.
Several were vegan so I could try them, everyone liked the butternut squash and red lentil one I took.
Found it all quite motivational tonight and several people said they could tell I'd lost. Quiz night next week.
11.5lb now so hope i get to 1 stone in next 2 weeks.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Can't decide what to have for teahave to be careful as hubbys gone for a loaf of bread [we don't usually have any in as all trying to avoid it but hes got a craving] and if i don't organise something quick the bread will be down my throat before i can blink. Will update later
Apologies for my absence.....so many things going on at the mo and Ive got my dreaded Endoscopy tomorrow so Ive been rather distractedAlso Ive not heard from my ratbag son yet  so cant tell you anything more re the cookie thing yet
kids!!
On a lighter note I made WI tonight and have lost 1lb....I was a bit miffed as I really wanted a bit more than this, but the whole group gave me a good talking seeing as I cant exercise - and walk slower than a snail on the crutches (tho Im quicker now than I was on the zimmer lol)
so with my sensible head on I guess I cant expect the 2lb+ a week I was getting before the last Brain Op when I was swimming 50 lengths 5 days a week.
Ive got 4 weigh ins to my hols and 3.5 to get me my 2stone award......so thats my current realistic aim now.
And I shall (after tomorrows nasty hospital) make sure I get back to posting on a daily basis!! x x0
