I have a DVD at home that when I am feeling fit I try and do. It's called the 30 day shred. It's REALLY good, 20 minute workouts of interval training.
One of the things that does make me smile is that the woman on it keeps telling you that there is "no modification for star jumps. I have 400lb people who can do star jumps."
There are no excuses after that really!
I've got the dreaded Shred! Was really good at doing it every day for about a week then I got busy and got out of the habit. It's really difficult for a 20 minute workout! :eek:Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Helllooo all
-well done to those with losses :T
We have a drizzly overcast day here again... I think we are in for a really harsh winter -the birds are going scatty in the garden, I think they are stocking up ready too. Yesterday I picked up a 22kg sack of food to keep them going and a bucket of fat balls...lets see how long that lasts
Anyhoo -we went shopping last night and I think I was "nearly" good -I only got 1 pack of minced steak and some frozen cherries for the freezer-everything else was water, veg, fruit -so I now have 2 caulis and 2 broccoli *amongst other things* so I can make the vegetable cheese again
.... the prices are getting better here now they are bringing out the bulk stuff for winter such as
- 10kg potatoes -€1.29
- 1kg leeks -99c
- 4kg onions -99c
- apple
- banana
- 250ml semi (A)
- hm squash soup
- 2 ryvita seedy (B)
- 1 triangle (2.5)
- beetroot
- gherkin
- strawberries, raspberries,cherries,blueberries
- activia intensely (2.5)
- 50g dry weight pasta
- home made roasted tomato sauce (0.5)
- 42g low fat cheddar (B)
- 250ml semi (A)
- fresh pineapple
- activia intensely (2.5)
I don't have much planned for today -apart from some serious meal planning -the idea is to do several weeks worth and then we can just pick a week at random as we go-Im really looking forward to trying some nice new things.
I can't remember who mentioned the disappointing cauli cheese they made from the magazine -but the other day I made luxury cauli cheese -its an old fave here and its gorgeous... it was:-- big chunks of carrot
- big chunks of leek
- cauliflower
- broccoli
- I lightly steam them all and leave to cool -they give off liquid as they cool, so it won't make your sauce go watery
- then pile in an ovenproof dish and pour over the following cheese sauce:-
- 250ml semi (A) warmed in a pan then stir in :-
- 4tsp cornflour (4)-let down with cold water, and stir until thickened, then add :-
- 1tsp English mustard (0.5) -or use powdered for free
- 84g cathederal city lighter (2XA)
- seasoning
- 4 spring onions chopped
Right -folks I will get off for now..have a great day and keep up the great work!!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I love how people always make excuses for the exercise bit of weight loss...(I am guilty too, although I do actually do some exercise). They just don't want to actually change the way they live which is really what you have to do.
My SW class was basically a gossip bee for a bunch of old ladies who all complained they weren't losing weight but wouldn't do any exercise or give stuff up. That was incredibly frustrating and part of the reason I stopped going.
I think consultants should be able to tell people like it is. Otherwise SW is just another purely for profit organisation. If they aren't ready to hear that going for a walk everyday is good for you they are just pouring their money down the drain anyway.
Do the same things - get the same results.
Make a change - get different results.
Obviously if you are disabled then things are different - but I've seen a guy with CP do a seriously hard yoga class, watched a guy with downs syndrome lift weights and a room full of old people do a seated aerobics class with weights that had them all sweating. (I used to be a newspaper reporter - I'd get sent to stuff like that.)

I have my weigh in tonight - I feel like I've had a good week and I've been to pilates and circuits so far this week at the gym so fingers crossed for a loss.0 -

I was going to try and get myself some of those Sainsburys Sugar Free Marshmellows; but our Sainsburys' don't have them unfortunately.:( What do other people take to the cinema so they feel like they're not missing out on all those gorgeous sweeties?? Thanks:beer:
I take Marks and Sparks count on us chocolate mousse for 4syns and either meringue nests at 2.5syns or mini meringues at 1 syn each. I crush them into the chocolate mousse or dip them in!0 -
