Wi tonight - first time since I put on 2lb a fortnight ago, haven't tuck to plan at all until this Sunda when I went back on with a purpose, pleased to say I have lost the 2lb and had an enjoyable fortnight. Still struggling with lunches for work other than pasta bake and salad which is getting boring. Soup or JP is good some days when I'm office bound but I'm out and about a lot so not easy to heat things up.
Any ideas other than sandwiches - I do mostly red or green days, EE doesn't seem to work too well on me as I miss the extra HE'sMama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

I've been eating a *lot* of salad since I got back into SW last May - but "salad" can be a whole range of things
Now it's getting colder I'm going back to things that can be quickly zapped in the microwave - either leftovers from dinner the night before (make extra on purpose) or like I had today - falafel and cous cous. Cauldron falafel are only 1/2 syn each and they're really tasty and they freeze well.0 -
I sometimes take a Curly Wurly, doesn't break the bank ,syn-wise-

then buy a diet drink there - that tends to keep me going (until the film starts anyway!).
I'm interested too as to what other people take, I have such a sweet tooth!

I've been so hungry since I got home today - foods been ok during the day but been out and so busy I had to remember to get lunch.
B - 2 weetabix/rice milk (HEB and part of HEA)
Mid am - apple
Lunch - jacket spud and beans and bit of soya cheese (HEA) (but left most as seem to be going off it)
Dinner - rice, massive pile of vege and ratatouille with some plain tofu in
I've been wandering round trying to work out why I'm still hungry and have worked out its that time of the month when I go I need CHOCOLATE!!!
Have settled for a bowl of rice pud with 1/2 a banana chopped up on it as can't be hungry.
Might give in later and have a tiny amount of chocolate as not had any syns yet but am trying to wean myself off it - have not had more than 2 small truffles in the past month.
I shall be glad to get rid of the 5 After Eight choc santas that are sitting in my wardrobe - waiting to go to friend for animal sanctuary tombola - they keep calling to me:rotfl:
Wont allow myself to have a choc binge as going to the vegan festival Sat and am having my first flexi syns day as want a slice of cake.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Lynz,
Lakeland used to do sets of 10 really small plastic food boxes with blue lids. They're about 2cm square - and perfect for salad dressingsThey stay water tight, too.
I bought at least two sets and have some spare - PM me your address and I'll stick a couple in the post if you like0 -

Chick peas, all mushed up with spices and possibly onion, formed into little balls and baked. (Authentic ones are deep fried!)

Hello.... I hope you don't mind me joining in?
I first went to SW about 18 months ago, but suffer terribly with nerves and didn't make it back, I was just too shy. I buy the magazine and have tried several times to stick withthe plan on my own but have only ever lasted a couple of days. However, I'm really, really motivated this time and really wany to stick with it. I know several people who have lost loads of weight with SW and am determined that I can too.
I mostly eat vegetarian food and *have* to have carbs or I go a bit wobbly, so the green days are great for me.
I don't have any scales at home so will go and get some this week so I can properly keep track. I've also bought myself a tape measure so I can see any inch loss!
Anyway... today I've eaten:
2 weetabix with skimmed milk (HEA+B); an apple, a massive portion of sw quiche, a slice of wholemeal bread (HEB), an orange, a pink grapefruit, quorn sausages with mash, peas and beans, and a milky way (6syns?). Does that look ok?
I'd like to lose 4 stone, which is a scary thought, so I'm aiming to try and lose a stone by christmas.
Nice to meet you all!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0
