    Wow, 6.5 stone, that's amazing :)

I want to get 2 stone off at least, maybe 3 as I should be around 8 stone for my height but I'm not sure I would look healthy that slim if that makes sense?

I found a gorgeous dress yesterday that I want to wear to my work Xmas do, they have one that would fit me as I am, but I know it would look so much better a size smaller, can I lose a dress size by December 2nd? is that realistic?

I've lost 13.5 since 25th August, thats with me not being 100% so I'm sure you can get most of that stone off before Dec 2nd :) Just don't push yourself so hard you go OTT!

Can I ask how many syns people tend to have? I know they say up to 15 but that sounds an awful lot to me

It's not really by the time I've had a chocolate bar or sausages for tea.... it soon adds up!

  • hi all
not had chance yet to catch up , will do that later
    quick question (sorry)
i had a regular latte from coffee nation this morning
it was semi skimmed milk so i was hoping to use my HEA for that
what i need to know is - is the milk the only reason for syns ?
ie can i HEA the milk and the rest is just coffee (free ??)
i looked it up on the website but they don't do coffee nation and the others vary hugely

thanks all be back later xxxxx
  • I tried to put in both Mama and Thai as the brand name for the food but it isn't bringing anything up?

I did search for the Ko Lee chicken noodles in a pot that I adore (and are always in poundland at 3 pots for £1 so a cheap meal as they are really filling) and they are a mere 2.5 syns! Bonus! I thought they would be at least a million as they are very tasty.
Did anyone see River Cottage everyday last night?

Hugh was brewing up homemade pot noodles. He did a couple that looked pretty SW friendly and certainly tastier than the pot noodle!!! Might try and persuade my husband to swap them for his daily packet of supernoodles. He's a creature of habit. Same lunch every day for over two years now... it would drive me insane.

The best way of getting the water out of the grated veg is to squeeze it all in a clean teatowel.

Am going to try making a quiche with a hashbrown type base - hope it works!

Thank you, I will try that next time. My HB's weren't a success.. flavour good, but I put them in an oiled muffin tray and they stuck to it and were all floppy.... Oh well. I won't give up :D

Your HB based quiche sound yum, let us know how it turns out

  • Hey guys,

Just had a read and a catch up of this thread. Welcome to everyone new, you'll find loads of inspiration, advice and sympathy on this thread.

Dizzy - Best of luck, hope you are ok.

Skintslimmer - I'm sorry but you made me laugh so so much with your posts:rotfl::rotfl:. I'm sure you are well deserved of slimmer of the week and month. You have done fab!

I do know what you mean about eating bad and losing lots. I ate a fresh cream bun, sausage roll, attacked a couple of crisps and biscuits all on the same day and early that week had sweet popcorn at the movies and lost 3.5lbs and I was slimmer of the week too.

How does it happen? I don't really know I put it down to the fact I was eating super speed soup most of the other times and when I did have my little binge it wasn't as bad as it could have been, or how I used to be. Subconsiously something is kicking it. That's my reasoning and I'm sticking to it :rotfl:

Liz3yy a Kit Kat Chunky - standard milk chocolate bar is 13 syns.

Thanks very much, doesn't seem too bad though I do fancy a glass of wine later too :) think I'll share the kit kat with OH, he's not fussy!

Oh another question, sorry guys, how many syns in 100g of goats cheese? or does it count as a HEb?

Sorry your hashbrowns didn't turn out too good. Am planning on doing the HB based quiche next Thursday as will be using up bits of leftovers before I go shopping, LOL!
