I tried to put in both Mama and Thai as the brand name for the food but it isn't bringing anything up?

I did search for the Ko Lee chicken noodles in a pot that I adore (and are always in poundland at 3 pots for £1 so a cheap meal as they are really filling) and they are a mere 2.5 syns! Bonus! I thought they would be at least a million as they are very tasty.
Did anyone see River Cottage everyday last night?

Hugh was brewing up homemade pot noodles. He did a couple that looked pretty SW friendly and certainly tastier than the pot noodle!!! Might try and persuade my husband to swap them for his daily packet of supernoodles. He's a creature of habit. Same lunch every day for over two years now... it would drive me insane.

Oh yeah, I saw that - they looked yum! OH liked the look of some of them too. I recorded the programme so I am going to get the recipes he used from that and use them as a basis to make my own. I also enjoyed the programme he did last week on breakfasts, especially the bircher museli so I made some of that myself with my HEB 28g of museli - it looked really pitiful as 28g museli doesn't even cover the bottom of the bowl! I am back to my two weetabix for breakfast instead now!

    Wow, 6.5 stone, that's amazing :)

I want to get 2 stone off at least, maybe 3 as I should be around 8 stone for my height but I'm not sure I would look healthy that slim if that makes sense?

I found a gorgeous dress yesterday that I want to wear to my work Xmas do, they have one that would fit me as I am, but I know it would look so much better a size smaller, can I lose a dress size by December 2nd? is that realistic?

Thanks - it's taken me a while but I'm getting there! The weight will come off I promise you! I would have thought it would be possible to lose a dress size by then. Most shops offer 28 days return - why don't you buy the dress in a size smaller and put it on the front of your wardrobe as an incentive to help you with the Plan.

I've just come back from honeymoon in Disneyland Paris and plan to return there this time next year and my aim is to be able to buy and wear the beautiful skinny t-shirts they sell for women!:D

    HI ALL

Just back home from hosp......Thanks for your messages :)

It wasnt pleasant, but not as bad I as had expected as I was sedated and was only aware of the very end bit really which made me gag.

They told me before leaving that they did find a sliding hernia?? but I need to come back to see the consultant to discuss the results. My throat is sore and im real hungry but my tum is complaining from being prodded and poked so its just sloppy weetabix for tea and the mcdonalds strawberry shake that OH got me on the way home :o Im not checking the syns until tomorrow

Catch you all later, be good.....dont let them food fairies get you! you know what they're like on a weekend girls  x x
  • You're home now Dizzy and you deserve a treat! (I'm sure I read that for 24 hours post-endoscopy syns do not register at all)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Hello Ladies,

I have been a serial lurker for ages but have decided if I want to get to target by Christmas, I need a huaaage kick up the bum and think you guys are the right peeps to do it.

I have been hovering between 1-4 lbs over target for about 3 months now so I guess I have maintaining down to a tea, but I just need to get my head screwed on, get back on plan, get back on exercise and get those scales going downwards again.Today has been another day of over synning but from tomorrow I'm going to aim to have between 5-10 syns only and to up my superfree intake. I will post today's food just to shock me into action.

    Green day supposedly:

    Breakfast
    Lemon Hi Fi Bar (HEB)

Semi skimmed milk for tea throughout the day (HEA)

    Lunch
HM thick mixed veg soup (carrots, parsnips, red onion, red lentils and pearl barley) I love making soup thick and often use it as the base to curries etc.
Food Doctor Ceral and See hi fibre Pitta Bread (8 syns)
    Curly Wurly (6 syns)
Weight Watchers Rich Chocolate Desert (3 syns)

    Dinner
Waitrose Salmon, King Prawns & Scallops in Tomato Sauce with Wholewheat Spaghetti (8 syns) Needed using up
3 x Mini Babybel light (HEA)
Squiz of Sweet Chilli Sauce (1.5 syns)

    Extras
Dark Choc Hi Fibre Bar (HEB)
    M & S Sushi Snack Selection (0.5 syns)
    250ml White Wine (8.5 syns)

Cripes so that lot comes to 27 syns already and I have SW rice pud in the oven. Maybe have that tomorrow instead  Have also soaked and boiled some mixed beans so will be cooking up a vat of Veggie Bean Chilli.

Back to the sofa and wine then....:o
