Hello everyone, not been around much as I have been recovering from the lurgy, still not 100% but at least I'm back at work.

Just caught up on a few pages as you all talk too much to catch up on everrything :D.

On the subject of Hunter Chicken, there is a SW BBQ sauce recipe that would make it free if using cheese as an A on EE. Here it is..

SW barbecue sauce *taken from sw 100 sauces* free on all programmes. serves 4. Freezable.

    fry light
    1 onion roughly chopped
    1tsp mild chilli powder
    8floz passata
    3tbsp sweetener
    4tbs balsamic
    1tbs worcestershire sauce
    1/2tsp mustard powder
    seasoning

Spray a pan with fry light and saute the onion over a low heat until softened. Add everything else and bring to the boil, then reduce and simmer for 10 mins until thickened. Season to taste. Serve hot or cold..

I've tried it and it is really nice, I htink it was originally posted by MrsM on the previous thread.

I have been off the wagon for the past week so this weeks WI on Thur will probably see a gain. But as of today I am back and refocused.

    Today (green)
    B - 2 toast, butter & marmite (B+3) - naughty me having bread. Last lot I promise :-)
L - SW cauliflower cheese (F+A) Green beans (F) - recipe from latest mag.
    D - Chicken & Veg enchillada (9+A+B) Salad (F)
    Snx - Mandarin x 2 (F) coffee (2) 0% greek yog (F)

A lot of syns and the tortilla is a treat as OH was wingeing that he wanted enchilladas so I have given in for today.

Have a fab day everyone, I will endevour to report in everyday as you all keep me on track xxx

weigh in tommorow, so will try to behave really well today, although i have been sticking to the plan and i haven't had any mayor pig outs, my days syns is usually about 17, i just can't help but to eat an extra mini pack of love hearts at the end of the day:naughty: !!!! roll on halloween when i can get rid of them to the trick or treaters ( i have 200 packets left over from my wedding ) I am hoping i have lost coz i have been on the toilet a lot this week, :D and my trousers keep falling down :rotfl:. so today is

b - cadburys milk chocloate fibre creal bar, (HEB)
L - pasta and sauce and cheese (HEA)
D- slimming world chips, fried egg, mushrooms and beans .

snacks- chocolate :D, and probably another cereal bar (heb), and better add some fruit for good measure

Hi Vicki, I may be wrong but I don't think the cadbury's cereal bars are a HEB. It may be worth checking, especially as you mention possibly having 2 of them!

We're out for tea tonight for OH's birthday. I've never been to the pub we're going to so I don't know how SW friendly it will be! I've tried to look at the menu online but they don't have a website. Apparently they have an offer on where you get a free starter or pudding, I hope we have starters as there's more likely to be an okish one rather than the puddings!

We went for a lovely walk last night when i got home from work. Hopefully we can go again tonight but it's pouring down here at the minute!

I'm going for EE today seeing as I don't know what I'm having for tea!

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
    Snack - grapes, pear
Lunch - pasta, tomato and veg sauce, HM coleslaw (1)
    Snack - more fruit
    Tea - ???

Thanks to Mrs M I have finally got my butt into gear and started sorting out recipes from my huuuuuge magazine collection! I'll share any that I think are any good!!! Last night we had the following (which I have tweaked from the original!):

Spicy Coley with Spaghetti (serves 4) 0.5 syns per serving on EE

    1 large onion
2 carrots (I didn't have nay so used a courgette!)
    2 celery sticks
    1 red chilli

    1 tablespoon tomato puree
    2 tins of chopped tomatoes
    oregano
    balsamic vinegar

4 coley fillets (or any white fish)

200g pasta (or as much as you like on EE or green! We had more!)

    1. Finely chop the veg and chilli (I used my food processor)
    2. soften the veg in a little fry light
    3. add the tomato puree and cook for a couple of mins
    4. add the tinned toms, oregano and a glug of balsamic, bring to the boil and season to taste.
    5. Add the fish fillets, reduce heat and cover with a lid. Simmer for 30mins (ish).
    6. Whilst the fish is cooking cook the pasta.

It wasn't something I'd normally have done with fish but we both really enjoyed it.

  • i sppose half a pound off is better than on but i just want to shift my holiday weight and get into the 12st bracket. I've lost a stone in total but its taken me 8months:eek:

I know slimming down should be a slowish process so you're actaully losing fat and not water bt what i would give for more than a pound a week! :(

Again i know its better off than on but i'm just greedy :D

Having a Veggie curry but I've seem to have lost my appetite this week so i'm picking at it.

Trying to find who the maker is of Mountain Dew but its hard as the cans are imported and they have a stupid sticker on and of course when i peeled it off it did that annoying this where the top layer comes off! So i'm not too sure.

I bet its more than a can of coke...(how many syns in a can of full fat coke?) as its sugary as hell!
