hey guys, congrats on all the losses :j and it's a new week for everyone else!

I STS this week, but think it's due to not having enough superfree's with my EE days. Had a bit of a breakdown yesterday and had two tripples (9), a fudge (6) and a milky (3.5) :o

    Yesterday - Green
    B - 28g bran flakes & milk (HEA1 HEB1)
    L - WW yoghurt, Rolo cookie (10??), Wetherspoons 5 bean chili (4.5)
D - Vegetable risotto, 2 WW yoghurts, treats above (18.5)
Snacks - apple, cheese on toast (HEA2 HEB2)
    TOTAL = 33 :eek:

    Today - Green day
B - 2 WW wholemeal toast & 28g red leicestershire cheese (HEA HEB)
Snacks - apple, WW yoghurt, alpen light (3)
D - vegetable curry with courgette, potato, carrot & broccoli
curry sauce (3) sainsburys long grain rice microwavable (2)
    Snacks - apple, muller light,
TOTAL = 8 so far. will have some ryvita's for my HEB2 and 1.5 syns for the butter that brings it to 9.5 syns.

the curry was really nice, and was 3 of my 5 a day :D

Just wanted some advice, on a bit of a budget this week and was wondering what I could make for tea these next few days. I have some broccoli to use, some courgettes, some thin chicken strips??
sorry, thats not very much to go on :rotfl:

also, I'll have some spare stir fry vegetables and was wondering what to do with them. Does anyone know how to make syn free pasta sauce?

Don't give yourself a hard time - at least you know how many syns you had yesterday and my Consultant always says that by continuing to count your syns even when you go over your 10 a day; means you are still in control and on the Plan. Well done for getting back on the Plan today!:T:T

May I pick your brains please:
    • Before starting SW, I used to cook (e.g.dauphinois potatoes) with low fat creme fraiche. Is it possible to substitute fat free yogurt/fromage frais in cooking?
    • I'm doing a stir fry tomorrow and using chicken for the first time on SW. Anyone got a good recipe for syn free stir fry sauce/marinade to go with chicken? My usual was honey and sherry with soy but want to avoid 'wasting' valuable syns I could use for real treats.

  • Our local Curry House does all your standard currys but with Quorn - wonder how much that would bring the syn value down by???
Which curry house is that ali? I know there's chinese places in our area that do quorn stuff but didn't know of any indian places :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!
