I used frozen ones so i just cooked them until they were "defrosted" and then sliced them and then left them to finish cooking before i put the egg over them :)

It was v v filling!!! And most importantly FREE on all plans! :)

uh oh just got attacked by 4 treat size twirls
  • Well that was stressful! Not long finished work, got home, and dropped my car keys down the lift shaft:eek: Nightmare, luckily my hubby is a genius, took a good 45 minutes of trial and error but i have them back:T Not sure our neighbours were thrilled with all the banging at this time in the morning:o

Glad you got 'em back - I'm always a nervous wreck if I park near a drain on a road, I just know that SOMETIME my keys are going to jump out of my hand and down the drain. I shall be calling on your hubby when it happens ;)

Right, due to a complete lack of inspiration what to make for this week's meals, I decided to have a go at Dynorod soup. Obviously, with there only being me, I didnt add everything that's recommended, but the ingredients I used are: garlic, onion (these two fried in a splash of mushroom ketchup to begin); tin of tomatoes, a quarter of a swede, a quarter of a butternut squash, 2 vegetable oxo cubes (these ingredients all cooked until tender-ish); a red pepper, a courgette (these two added to previous and cooked until tender). Then I blitzed all this lot along with the contents of a (yuck) tin of carrots. I then added a drained tin of green lentils and a drained tin of kidney beans.

I set out a small bowlful for me and heated it. Very dreary and I didn't like the lumps of lentil and beans. So I blitzed it all again, and added a handful of small pickled onions (as with p.o. soup, which I do enjoy). To be honest, it's not much better. And I have my BIGGEST BOWL full to the brim of the stuff . Dammit I think I'm gonna have to take it along to class on Tuesday and let everyone have a share; it's not doing it for me and even if it has the reputed bottom-area result I can't eat meals that don't taste good, it's a waste of a mealtime. Sorry, I sound like a moaner now, but it is DREARY :(
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
