Have just weighed in and lost 2lb. I am very happy!
This is the lowest weight I have been for 5 years - I have lost 10lbs now in 6 weeks and realise that I have been faffing around for the past 5 years thinking I was doiing the right things and obviously wasn't!
Thanks for all the support on here.

    well done losers!!

ooh went 2 over my syns last night - just had to have that packet of magic stars lol

    going to dinner tonight in an italian - i have the menu already and i think i have picked out the best choices. i cant list them all as it is a giant menu but this is what i was thinking of having;

starter was a toss up between parma ham with melon and minestrone soup - will prob go for the soup in this weather

main - fettucine cappricco which is noodles with sweet peppers, mushrooms, onions and a dash of tomato sauce

maybe add a side salad. i think most of this is free food but will add some syns for fresh pasta and olive oil

    does that sound ok?

will stick to diet coke and obviously will have a small piece of bday cake instead of an italian dessert (really want tiramisu lol)

Saw this and thought of you? There is a 20% off code underneath it too so it seems a good buy.

2 medium slices wholemeal bread 2xHEB
    2 rashers of bacon
    1 Tbspn ketchup 1S

    1 mini choc muffin 5S

Ham, cottage cheese rolls with jalapenos
    Banana
    Orange

    Roast chicken
    Mixed roast veg
    Raspberries
    Greek Yoghurt
    1 Tbspn Honey

    THis looks alright doesn't it....

So where do I put my sons leftover dinner then... pasta carbonara... no idea how much... gah! It tasted sooo good :o

Any tips for not eating the toddler leftovers greatly appreciated.

Squirt washing up liquid over your DS's finished plate, won't look as appealing then. HTH

Morning all, had WI this evening and I lost 1lb. Was still a bit disappointed as I had been really good last week and upped my exercise.

My consultant seems to think I'm not eating enough, I know I drink plenty of water so know that isn't the issue. I think its a psychological battle as I've always been led to believe that you can't eat that much food and still lose weight!

Onwards and upwards though, a loss is a loss. Well done to all the other losers.
  • Hello everyone!!

I started off having a good week and then BANG! Flu hit me like a tonne of bricks :( i feel awful! So from Wednesday onwards i've eaten nothing except for pasta/rice/potatoes! (and cake and chocolate....)

I have started my meal plan for next week :) am hoping to incorporate lots of warming food that should keep me nice and full on these freezing cold evenings!!

MRS MCAWBER - your chinese pork recipe sounds astounding!! Can you please share the oven version as i don't have a slow cooker!

I think that would be a great meal for next week when my brother comes home from uni! Shall serve it with a nice big veg stir fry!! :) NOM NOM!!

Am still struggling for lunches... I have had pasta, jacket potato, more pasta......I'm gonna have to have a think! :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Try the visualisation exercise that is on the web site - I find it really helps.
I have always thought that no matter what I did, other people lose weight but I don't - I am happy to say I have proved myself wrong:j:j
Just before I started SW online, I had lots of tests through the doctor to see if there was an underlying medical condition to cause this problem, but I think I can now say I had a block in my head - it is unblocked now!!

Big (hugs) Vickie. DH and I had this awful flu that's going round when we got back from honeymoon and it does hit you like a ton of bricks; so don't be so hard on yourself. When you feel that bad it's hard to be motivated to do anything. Your back on track now and that's the most important thing. Well done you!:T

Hi folks - I wondered if you could help me with a question? DH has just rung to say he fancies going out for an Indian meal tonight - he has had a really busy week so I am quite happy to go along with this treat! I'm at target - which would be a good choice? I usually have something with chicken, sometimes with spinach, and just plain rice. I'm happy to eat most things though.
