Yep - I have. Sort of.
I was with my group for a year and a half but never felt hugely comfortable with the dynamics. I lost 6 stone though.
Put one back on...
Decided to go back - but decided to try a fresh group to see if it was more 'me'.
I lost my 6-stone-lost status and actually haven't mentioned to my consultant how much I've lost (she knows I've done if before though). I don't mind - it gave me a fresh start and a new target to get back to my lowest weight.
And though the group follows much the same format (which I do find monotonous!) there's something about the consultant and group members that makes it a more enjoyable experience.
I say go for it - you're not getting anything from your current group and it's natural for your relationship with your group to change as life changes and you change. It's okay to want to start a new relationship somewhere else.
Just my two penneth.
We had a cover consultant tonight as our normal consultant is on holiday. She was so enthusiastic about the Plan and went out of her way to try and point out different receipes, foods we are allowed to have and increasing our superspeed foods to help us get the losses we want. I really did walk out there tonight feeling like "I can do this".
I've thought about changing consultant before - problem is we live in an area where one consultant does most of the groups and not driving makes it difficult to get to some groups in the evenings.:(0 -

I think it's a shame SW don't do some sort of anonymous feedback system for consultants to see whether there are things people would like them to do more/less of. I'm sure my old consultant would have taken it onboard - but I was too timid to share my feedback face to face.
Edit: to say that includes giving positive feedback!0 -
I've decided to have flexi - days on friday and possibly saturday. I'm really struggling at work and would rather go 'off plan' in a controlled way than be starving and have something i have no idea the syn value of from work. I have mentioned before i work in TGI Fridays so not much SW friendly food there!
Would rather take some more syns with me so i know what i'm having. Won't go too crazy obviously;)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Well done aliscrapper on your amazing loss!:j
I'm home alone tonight as my DH is away in Wolverhampton for meetings and an interview for his own job tomorrow. We are staying optimistic until there is something to worry about....
This is usually when I am naughty when he is away, but I have been good and just chopped up a pineapple to nibble on.:p
I am also inputting some research I am involved in which is well overdue, as I am presenting it at a national conference next month and it still needs analysing:eek:.
Hey ho - back to work.
L xNO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -

I think that's a brilliant idea!:D0 -
Hi there,
Would it be possible for someone to please tell me how many syns would be in this Sherpherds pie packet mix please
Colmans Shepherds Pie 50g
I don't know which amounts I need to put include, so i'll give you them all:
Per 100g
288kcal
11.8g protein
56.7g carbohydrate of which sugars 13.5g
1.5g fat of which saturates 0.5g
5.3g fibre
4.6g sodium
11.60g salt (based on sodium)
Also, I bought meet free mince to make the shepherds pie with, thinking it was free, but now I'm not sure as the list says that meet free sausages have syns, but I can't find meet free mince anywhere, it was made by Asda if that helps.
Hope someone can help TIASW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14
Lost - 5lbs0 -
Back from WI/meeting - lost half a pound this week - least it's a loss but I'd hoped for more.
Will have to look at my food diary, been so cold I've not been as keen on the fruit/salad side of things, some days just soup for lunch is not enough as I only have a small flask. Maybe I need to eat more.
Consultants set me a 1.5lb challenge for next week - fingers crossed!
Need to try and get to the gym as only been Sunday, not felt like going back.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

I looked up Asda Meat Free Mince and it came up with the following
Asda Meat Free, Mince, 600g pack, frozen 100g
0 Syn on Extra Easy
Original Free
Green Free
Asda Meat Free, Savoury Mince Mix, made up as directed, dried 120g pack
0 Syn on Extra Easy
Original Free
Green Free
I put the Colman's Shepherd's Pie thru the syn calculator and it came up that for 50g it would work out at 7 Syns per package/portion on Green, Original or Extra Easy:eek:0 -
