Hi everyone - haven't had a bad day food wise. Was at a funeral of someone my age (49) at lunch time - makes you realise that life is for living and we are only here once.....
Dizzy - I SO empathise with you on the food poisoning - I got it a couple of months ago from rice that had been cooked with chicken and I had my first day off SICK for 20 years plus! Everyone else seemed to know about rice and reheating except for me and you!
Managed to get to the gym tonight so feel tired out in a nice way!
Gunsandbanjos - glad that your daughter didn't need surgery - sounds promising anyway.
After my photography weekend away I have decided I am going to need a new camera as I have outgrown my current one.... after looking at a few I will definitely have to save up!
    Hey ho.

NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........
  • I'm going to (yawn yawn) take my SW book to bed and get some ideas for varying my breakfasts a bit more (it's either fruit and yog, or fruit and allbran and yog, or occasionally bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes), and my supper a lot more as it is almost always green salad (rocket/watercress), with spring onions, beetroot, capers, olives, cucumber, warm potatoes and smoked salmon or prawns. Thing is, when I get in from work I can have that lot ready in five minutes; I don't want to spend the time or dirty the pans doing much more . hey ho.
some months ago I found an article in my daily paper entitled 50 tips to help whilst dieting or whatever we wish to call it !! one of them was to eat vitam in filled melon (free to SW) followed by protein rich egg for the perfect fat fighting breakfast. The eggs break down the melons carbs !!
I guess consultant 31 would be best placed to tell us if that is a viable sttatement !

you are in the best place to help with your SW-everyone on here is lovely, helpful and a little bit bonkers *some more than others*-and they know who they are ;)
I started at the same weight as you -and I haven't even got children to blame :rotfl:Im now at 14st exact (not for much longer mind).. hopefully that will be the last time you see that number on the scales :j
    the best of luck .....
This has (for a change of tack) nothing to do with food, How do you get that lovely font and all the colours and the jumping jacks etc ? its really lovely !!
  • I lost a pound :) could have been better - could have been worse! :rotfl: Would have been more if Mr Dyno had visited earlier ;)

I have CRAVED Dominoes for weeks, so after WI housemate and I went and had one :o At least it was one pizza between us rather than a large one each :p It went down so well with 1/2 a bottle of red and a dessert shared between us :o New day back on plan tomorrow :D

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Evening, my Wetherspoons trip went ok - was hungry and cold so had tomato and basil soup (no bread) then jacket and beans and salad - no butter/dressing. No alcohol - fizzy water and one diet coke. Would of much rather been in Pizza Express but have stuck to my plan:)

It was so cold in there - air con on am home now but can't get warm now.

I use to be the one in winter with windows open and 4.5 tog duvet on and always moaning it was too hot but since being on SW I'm now always cold! Must be the fact that I'm having a much lower fat diet than before? Will have to buy some thermals and a new winter coat!

    Food today:

B - Rice pud and berries (HEA)

Lunch - butternut squash soup, small tub homemade pasta (leftovers)

D - Tom and basil soup and jacket with beans/salad

Snack this morning was a tub of tesco fruit salad.

Not had my soya yoghurt or my usual fruit snacks today as been busy and did not fancy them, not had my HEB but cant think of anything I want now, too late to eat now.

Somehow feel I've not eaten enough today, maybe another reason I feel so cold/tired.

I also feel I've not lost any weight but will see at WI tomorrow.

Had a text off my consultant to say we have our 1st food tasting evening next week - soup night:T

Weigh in last night - lost 6.5lbs this week, meaning a total of 3 stone 3lbs in 13 weeks. I've been putting in some serious shifts at the gym which must have contributed to this week's loss, since I haven't been following the SW plan one little bit!
Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.
