    Thanks autumnflower

I posted when I had just come in from WI and was in a "right one".

Food diary was OK - came in and checked, but I think I need to drink more... I can go from "playtime" to home without one.... (can you tell I work in a school??)

Out in Plymouth will consist of Frankie and Bs - not too bad - thinking either steak and JP or tommy based pasta (must avoid puds, must avoid ouds, must av.....)
    Chips (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
Starbucks (for brekkie - but they have started doing Porridge.....)

Thanks everso for replying - I will get the last bl*****y 0.5 lb off....

    Owl x

PS - also get lots pf advice and inspiration from you gorgeous gang...
Children are born with wings .... Teachers help them to fly
One day your life is going to flash in front of your eyes.... Make sure it's worth watching!!!!!

I meant are we going to have a new thread yet? Getting a little big! Not that i am complaining but we sure do talk alot! :rotfl:

Oh sorry, I can't help being dozy, I'm old :rotfl::rotfl:

How can we manage 80 odd pages in less than 7 weeks?? Somebody is talking too much....who can it be :p

I'll leave it till the weekend and start a new one then if that's ok with everyone.

Right, I'm off for a lovely leisurely bath with oils and candles and a good book. Come to think of it, that's p'raps why I've got wrinkles, nothing to do with age, everything to do with liking long soaks in the bath :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thanks Consultant. This is what I eat today which is a typical day for me. I have double checked my HE last night and religiously weigh my cereal and cheese every day. All three meals generally have superspeed in them more than anything else but I still find I gain some weeks when my portions are bigger. Any guidance would be gratefully received.

    Breakfast: 1 oz Kelloggs Fruit & Fibre & 1 scan bran ( b choice) , 6 blackberries & muller light yogurt
Snack: Weetabix Oaty Bar (b choice) & King Velvet crisps (4 syns)
Lunch: Home Made tomato soup (pasatta, baked beans, carrot, veg oxo and Worcester sauce and chilli powder)
Snack: Mini Mars (4 syns) & apple
Evening Meal: Pasta Bake (2 oz cheese – 2 x a choice), courgette, pasatta, dried pasta, onion, peppers) & Muller light yogurt
Snack: King Velvet crisps (4 syns)

My total syns for today are 12 but I have 2 syns left from the rest of the week.

Just before I go I will try and answer your post though it can be hard to see any patterns when it's just one day's menu.

Are you vegetarian? If not have you thought about trying some red days. Your diet seems quite heavy on carbs and though that's ok in itself, some people do react bady to a lot of wheat based foods.

Try to mix up your syns a little....2 packs of crisps, though low calorie, may be a bit too much. There are hundreds of things in the syn lists, have a look for something else now and again.

Do you syn your milk since you have your 2 HEAs as cheese? Do you drink enough water (at least 2½ litres)? Try it warm with a slice of lemon, it can become quite addictive and looks elegant if you serve it in an Irish whiskey glass.

I hope this helps a little - anything else you think of - just ask :D

ooh just made a lovely soup and it was so easy!

1 packet of pre chopped root veg (meant for mashing)
2 cans chopped toms with herbs
2 cans mixed beans in taco sauce
    stock
    broken up bits of spaghetti

    oooh is seriously yummy mmmmmmmmm

Thanks Consultant - you've definitely given me food for thought. Pardon the pun!:rotfl: I'm not vegetarian; but am not that keen on meat so have one red day a week which I really struggle with as I can't eat enough meat to stop me being hungry. I love Quorn so eat the Quorn Mince/chunks 2-3 times a week.

I have found eating less potato seems to help with my weight loss for some reason.

Will definitely look for other things to use for my syns but do find some days I either crave crisps or chocolate so that's predominantly what I use my syns for.

I don't drink milk so my 2 HEA choices are always cheese. I definitely need to drink more water - I'm also something of a diet coke addict - which is an addiction I'm finding hard to crack.:(
