how many syns in a mug shot.ad who makes them please and thankyou
Mug shot makes mug shots, found in the smart syns rice, pasta & grains part of my food directory.
Re the cous cous frittas piccie, can't take any credit for it, shamelessly copied it from Carmen's [whoopidoo] blog. Had my curry loaf today and even though I bunged loads of curry powder in it only tastes a bit of curry
Can some lovely person tell me the syns for a single finger twix [small one] please as one forced its way past my teeth even though I had them firmly clamped
Food today:
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, cous cous loaf, toms, wm roll , activia
T - mash, beans, toms, onions, b/sauce [1], cheese [a] [My fav comfort food]
Snacks - banana, melon, apple, onken, cuppa soup [5], twix [?]
Syns - 6 + twix [5] [if its low enough I may have meringue with fruit & onken later] I didn't have the meringue but did have 1 cube of choc [2.5] so 13.5 altogetherIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

:grouphug:hugs for cheeseaddict
is it ok to swap my ee day to a green day just cos i really want a fibre plus bar!?!?!?
so far today i had;
b - muller, grapes, cappucino (3), dairylea and ham sandwich
l - muller, melon, apple, babybels
snack - pilau rice pouch (2.5) - needed something hot!
d - cous cous loaf with veg and ham in it.
snacks - milky way stars (3.5) light choc mousse (3)
if i carried on ee - i would then have to add 6 for my fibre plus taking me over.
but if i changed it to green and made the fibre plus my 2nd heb then i just have to syn the ham??
i had 2 slices of wafer thin ham so that is 1.5?????
i feel very naughty for some reason :rotfl:0 -

I don't know lol, it was a single finger. Think I'll go with 5 syns as it wasn't very big. Wish they put the size on the wrapper, it was a multi pack but I never saw the outer wrapper. Thanks anyway xIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

huh - just shows how wrong a day can go even when its nearly bed time!
Got sweet cravings tonight out of nowhere. The screme egg I've been waiting for all week would have sorted them, but Noooooo-oo, I was so determined to keep that for tomorrow, that instead I devoured:
1/4 melon, spread with raspberry jam cos I needed the sweetness, but oh no that wasn't enough, so I had:
Rice crispies, with a whopping heaped tablespoon of white sugar (milk was a healthy extra, my only saving grace)
Then I noticed the options sachets in the cuboard and realised one of those would have done, and so I had that as well.still, thats my only syns apart from 1.5 this morning, so maybe-ish still within limit.
Annoying though, since I was congratulating myself at 9pm that I had done so well with minimal syns today to make up for going over a few times in the week, and I have had my 10 - thats TEN fruit and veggies a day today  and 5 were superfree foods, and 9 were speed foods
Best laid plans etcNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
I call a 'flexi-day' the same thing as an 'off' day - ie I have no control over the syns (restaurant) and so I dont count them at all, then get back on track right away, maybe reducing my syns the next few days to make up for it a little.
Today I'm doing EE:
tea with milk (1/2 HEA)
egg on a roll (HEB) with toms and mushrooms
1 pear and 1 plum
homemade carrot and lentil soup
1 pear and 1 plum
pasta bake (homemade) with tom sauce, veg, bacon and cheese (1/2 HEA) and salad
syns will be a hot choc in the evening (2) and 1 tsp ketchup and flora in my roll (2) = 4
thankyou thankyou this is how i have read into it too.i am going to pizza hut for their buffet wih a friend tomorrow and i absolutely love the 2 pastas they do . think i will have an "off" day , but only for that 1 meal . saves me stressing and feeling deprived over it !0 -

Well done all the losers and chin up for all of you who are finding it a bit tough at the moment. We all have times when it doesn't go so well but hopefully those times wont last too long and you will be back on track - YOU KNOW IT WORKS.!!
Who said they had gone off stuff? I have gone off some stuff (oily stuff mainly) but oh how I wish I could go off chocolate!!!! I just love the stuff in any shape or form. Being at target does mean I can have a chunk now and again but still not as much as I would like. Wonder if there will ever come a time when I can resist? (answers on the back of a postage stamp please). Good luck to you all xx
that was me hunny but it is mainly greasy cooked meals .
chocolate is a different story !!0 -
I did my first weigh in today and lost 2-3/4lbs!! Really happy with that considering i had a birthday treat on Friday.
Just wondered if someone could check my food again for the day.
I did EE today.
B-Porridge (HEB) with milk (half HEA) and a banana
L-Ham, onion and mushroom omlette with salad and a laughing cow triangle.
D-H/M spag bol with a slight variation to the book. I added worcestershire sauce, lentils, oxo, dried bolognaise seasoning, herbs and chilli. i had this with 35g of wholemeal pasta shells and salad. I grated 28g of light chedder and shared half with my Dh so 14g each. (2syns)?
Snacks-Apple, orange and 2 pieces of choc from a heroes box. Bournville and dairy milk (both had 2 squares). Does anyone know the syns for these? I really should have checked before i ate.
Please can someone point me in the right direction and let me know if this is the way to go. I dont go to class so have limited resources.
TIA for your help.
