Hi ladies, we're having a nice relaxing Saturday here. we might go for a walk soon but it keeps raining!!!! We had a lovely meal at the restaurant last night plus a couple of drinkie poos! Back on plan today. I'm having a green day:

    Brekkie - banana
lunch - jacket potato, beans, cheese (HEAx1.5)
Tea - chilli (HEB for mince), rice, HM salsa
I might have a fibre plus bar as my other HEB when we're watching a film later. I'll probably not have any syns as I don't need them today and it'll go towards making up for last night.
  • I've just had this for lunch from the link that Consultant kindly provided to the thread for weight loss receipes. I didn't have any Mexican oxo so used chilli powder and worcester sauce and left the pasta out as I didn't fancy it. As I'm on a green day I cooked the bacon separately; weighed it and used it as my Healthy Extra. I didn't liquidise it and it was so yummy and very filling and comforting in this cold weather!

    Mexican Soup

    Ingredients

    1 onion, chopped
    mushrooms, chopped
2 rashers of lean bacon, chopped (count as syns/HEb on a green day)
    Frylight
    1 Mexican flavour Oxo cube
1 400g can red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
    1 400g can baked beans
    1 400g can chopped tomatoes
    1 red pepper, chopped
A handful or two of pasta (count as syns/HEb on a red day)

    Method:
    1. Gently fry the onion, mushrooms and chopped bacon using Fry Light until they are softened and the bacon starts to brown.
    2. Place all the ingredients, except the pasta into a deep saucepan or casserole pot, along with the stock cube. Top the pan up with water.
    3. Simmer for 20 minutes then add the pasta and simmer for a further 5-10 minutes.
  • Not long returned from Asda

! DD now goes to SW group, but forgot to get password despite being reminded, she won't ask consultant & says her friends don't know, otherwise I'd do this myself.:D

There is no longer a password, Sasha, due to people who didn't pay out getting access to the members' area of the website (no offence!). Now each member is given a single-use PIN, once that PIN is entered the member uses their own username and password to enter the site.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Dizzy, you (and your OH with his wisecracks) really make me laugh - I'd love to spot you in Asda shopping! Sainos had asparagus (not UK grown) bogof the other day so I think I'll finish up the tips with a treaty 10g of butter for part of my supper, and use the tougher bits for some asparagus and leek soup tomorrow, mmmmm. Then I must look at World of Favours and decide what to make for next week's lunches.

Quick bit of advice needed please :)

After sipping diet coke while i watched hubbie adn kids eat mac donalds i went to spud u like, and had a poatto with cottage cheese and chives:A (without butter of course), so i am guessing this wasn't virtually fat free, but i can only find either virtually fat free or low fat cottage cheese on syns online. So my question is is all cottage cheese low fat?
I can't find spud u like on syns on line either :(

I know what you mean. I'm not a great fan of McDonald's but Mc Flurry's are a different matter!:rotfl::rotfl:
