  • Good morning my lovelies!!!

Urgh - have a bad sore throat this morning. :( everytime i swallow it feels like razor blades are cutting my throat! Boo!!

Today i am trying to have a red day :)

B - 28g Weetabix minis (part heb) & banana with milk (from hea) followed by w/g crackerbread with tsp of nutella (rest of heb +1.5) Cup of tea

L - Roast chicken with butternut squash, carrots and other veg i am not quite sure about yet lol. Gravy 2 syns, yorkie pud 3syns

Dessert - Skinny Cow Caramel shortcake 4.5 syns (should help my sore throat!!)

D - Might have some cheese and crackerbreads when X factor is on - 42g of cheese (hea2), ham, pickle (2syns), 6 w/g crackerbread (heb2)

    Snacks - satsumas, Yogs, Crabsticks

    Total syns - 11

Have planned some meals for next week as i have a freezer of food to use up! Am really struggling for lunches... In my house leftovers get munched before i get the chance to eat them! I cannot eat bread due to yeast intolerance so sandwiches are out... Atm if i dont have pasta n sauce or batchelors rice for lunch its chicken salad - which isn't filling me up for long enough on these colder days!! The only thing that fills me up is jacket potatos and i am now eating these at least twice a week which is partly why i keep Staying the same at WI!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I dont wanna hit that wall!! :)

Mug Shotz are very filling and so easy to take to work. I love the cheese mug shotz for 2 syns and then I mix in my 2 oz cheese just before I eat it - if you love cheese - it is heaven on earth!:D

i went out today and behaved myself again. I went to the pub and had grilled tuna, jacket poato (no butter) and salad. Small blob of salad cream :D
df had burger, chips and coleslaw  good job he has a good metabolism :D

Well done to you all on your weight losses.
Now if you can give me some green ideas to take to work for lunch i'd be very grateful. We do have a microwave at work.

    Well done Vickie!:T
Mug shotz are one of my favourites or Pasta & sauce macaroni cheeese (2 syns) can be done in the microwave and then I melt my 2 oz cheese into it once its cooked - can you tell I love cheese!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I did that with the pasta n sauce yesterday - was divine!

Why dont you get some cathedral city lighter? Its just as nice as the full fat stuff, that way if you want both your HeAs to be cheese you can have a nice 84g instead of 56g... shweet...

Ali, good idea... but... i hate mugshots! lol
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Ok, so only 0% (like Total 0%) counts as very low fat

that's annoying, Lidl doesn't stock 0% fat yog!
I have to get their 1.5%.
I guess 0.5 syns per 100g is not too bad tho.

Welcome - i am fairly new to SW too (at least i feel like I am!) but feel free to ask as many questions as you need to.

EE is pretty simple - it's what I do most of the time, though I am doing more Green for financial reasons at the mo (cheaper not to use meat)

My top tips are eating protein with meals to stay full - like eggs with brekkie, lentils or beans with lunch, and chicken/turkey with dinner.

Also, home made soup is an amazing way to get loads of superfree veg and really fills you up!!
Lidl have a 0.1% fat plain yoghurt which only costs about 50p my OH prefers its taste to some of the expensive no fat ones, I add fruit for breakfasts.

    Hello everyone,

I have finally returned to Slimming World after reaching target, and rather disappointingly gaining 11lbs of that back.

For the first time I have decided to start paying for group as well, in the hope that I will focus on my target so that I can stop paying!! And the maintain so that I don't have to pay any more...

Just wondering does anyone know if when you get to target if you are restricted to only 1 class a week? I want to mix things up with 2 classes near me but one is on a Monday, one on a Thursday so I don't want to go Monday-a week on Thursday for the next class.

    Hello all

Was all goign well today - had big sea cadet parade in portsmouth, had coffee when there was a break (well, cathedral service), but my darling H bought a mars bar too ("cos you look cold!!!"). And I ate it. Bum. 8 syns (half a duo bar - so one smallish bar - I called it treatsize on syns online) and I didn't even enjoy it that much.

Rest of day OK, need to up my superfrees - will have fruit etc later

(hugs) for the cold. I've wanted to eat more now the cold weather has hit us!:(
  • Hi all :j been doing lots of jumping jacks (read into this that I actually did about 2 then curled up in bed for 3 hours) this afternoon because being out in the cold for 4 hours this morning turned my thighs into icicles  And its only October! Still, the mucking out was good body magic.

I have discovered I go over my healthy extras at weekends - because they are "there" in my glovebox and therefore handy to have on way to and from work without thinking, or whilst panicking that I haven't eaten so far today :o i am on 2 B choices today, but then again I'll probably stay green so no worries, but I had 3 yesterday and was extra easy, so 12 syns on top of my other ones, and I didn't realise until too late  If I carry on at this rate i'm having between 15 and 20 syns a day, so need to pull it back a bit - today should be okay, as I have had:

b: 2 bags of oaty bites from aldi (probably not a true B choice but I'm trying my luck) BB
l: (at 4pm due to shivering in bed!) large bowl of dyno soup
t: free roast veggies at work, with maybe one roast potato and gravy (as much of this as I want, with this being my particular indulgance for a sunday.

i'm trying soooo hard to leave the 3 Screme eggs I bought for me and 2 friends for tuesday alone. they are in a bag at the bottom of my boot, but I can still hear their voices! :rotfl:

Whitehall, the green goddess quantities are a bit suck it and see, but I used a bag of baby spinach leaves from the supermarket, a small brown paper bag of baby sprouting broccoli (it needed using up) and a head of normal broccoli. (if I did it again I'd only use the head of broccoli and maybe one less pint of water) Oh, and a teaspoon of garlic, a small potato (think hand almost closed over it) and two stock cubes, and possibly 5 pints of water? Hope that works for you :)
