Came on here to say something but can't for the life of me think what it was :o

Anyway have just made my cous cous loaf for lunches this week. Have made it a curry one this time with onions, garlic & some left over veg from lunch [peas, kale, carrots] not sure what it will taste like but will still eat it as can't bear waste.

May be back later if I remember what it was I wanted to say :rotfl:
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Have you got the receipe for the cous cous loaf?? Have a whole packet of cous cous in my larder. Thanks.
  • vicki+1 - I always take tuna pasta salad if i'm going out, perhaps you could take soup in a flask? Maybe some low syn ready meals, Quorn do fillets in mushroom and wine sauce which are free on both days, or those Birdseye Steam Cuisine Salmon and Cod, they're free on red or 7 syns on green. I'm sure you could do them in the microwave seeing as their steamed.

Today I have been good, although i keep getting annoyed when I think I have lots of syns left then realise i've not counted the butter on my toast or sandwich! I was like YEAH 9 SYNS LEFT! then realised I only had 4.5 :o

    Today I had:

    B - 2 slices of WW wholemeal & butter (HeB)(1.5)
    L - Ham, lettuce & cucumber sandwich (6+1.5)
T - Homemade burger wrapped in bacon with lettuce, cucumber, celery and peppers and 1/2 pack of tesco spicy wedges (1.5)
    Snacks - 2 x Activia FF yogs
    Total syns =10.5

Missing my HeA, but not sure how to have it, as I've run out of toast allowance to put it on! I can't just drink milk, or just eat cheese! Bought some branflakes anyways today, so the milk will be sorted for tomorrow :D

Made the burger using the recipe from the slimming world magazine (one just gone), and it was lovely. the b/f said it was the best tea he's had in ages so must have been good!:rotfl:Basically got the whole weeks worth of tea's sorted thanks to that mag, it was a lifesaver!

However, on another note my bf's parents came over and brought us some flatwarming gifts from them and his grandma.... which was a cute very hunger catapiller biscuit box with 5 PACKS OF CHOCOLATE BISCUITS! Yorkie Snack bars, normal rocky's, caramel rocky's ARGHHH! they're all calling to me!

Sooo... How many syns are in the 25g packs of mini oreos?
I'm hoping not more than 4.5 syns haha
  • Was just looking up some of the M&S Pasta salads and whilst some of them were extremely high in syns; these seemed not too high in syns

    Evening all

    Green day for me: -updated-

B - 2 eggs fried in frylight on HM WM toast (HEB) with LF marg (0.5syns)
L - HM SF veggie chilli, rice, cheese (HEA) and sour cream (3syns)
D - WM roll (HEB), cheese (HEA), pickle (1syns), tom, cucumber sticks
Snacks - banana, FF yog, pear, LF creme fraiche (1.5syns)
Drinks - coffee, fizzy water, NAS squash

    Total syns = 6

I haven't had dinner yet but to be honest I'm not at all hungry! And I still have a HEA and HEB to use. I've made a big pot of SF celery soup but don't feel like that, will take it for lunches this week.

Edit - Decided to have a roll for tea, small enough so I won't feel full before bed.

    hi guys,

well i have turned into an eating machine the last few days.
mostly i think due to the cold weather, totm and i have a cold.

gone 2 or 3 over my syns for a few days - do you think this will make much of a difference??

No, don't worry about this. Eat the normal amount for the rest of the week and if it has any effect at all it will be minimal.

If you take weight loss over more than one week at a time you will see natural fluctuations due to water retention etc.

    Hello everyone,

I have finally returned to Slimming World after reaching target, and rather disappointingly gaining 11lbs of that back.

For the first time I have decided to start paying for group as well, in the hope that I will focus on my target so that I can stop paying!! And the maintain so that I don't have to pay any more...

Just wondering does anyone know if when you get to target if you are restricted to only 1 class a week? I want to mix things up with 2 classes near me but one is on a Monday, one on a Thursday so I don't want to go Monday-a week on Thursday for the next class.

Not quite sure if I understand what you're asking. Do you want to go to 2 groups each week? If you do then I'm not too sure of the answer - most people dread coming once lol :rotfl:

If you mean you want to go on the Monday one week and Thursday the next in a different location, then that's not a problem though the weight losses will look a bit odd.

    Sorry if I've misunderstood :o

The ones I had were the chilled ones, at 570g, so they might be a different syn value? I couldn't imagine eating half a pack of that size! :p
