I know they are great arnt they! I think the difference between them and the chicken burger is the lack of suspect gristly or grey bits
Have you also seen "poppin bites" they are 3 for the whole pack or 1.5 for half which is plenty with a dip
I also bought "southern style strips" today from Iceland ( £1 for the bag!!) does anyone know how many syns these are each?
I really try and avoid nasty processed meat so i can eat these quite happily, even if they are fungus.
I'll keep an eye out for the poppin bites, are they in the freezer section too?The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

me too, I hate that junk. I think I saw some programme about mechanically recovered meat and just stopped it. Grim. For many years If I have any "instant convenience" food in the freezer it is of the vegetarian option: I also really like Linda Mccartney sausage rolls or mexican bean burgers but these are very synful really.
Yes the poppin bites are in the freezer section too. If you have a farmfoods they are £1 a box in there. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

been to WI lost 1 1/2lbs - little disappointed with that as had a 2 1/2 lb gain last week due to excess alcohol over BH weekend - had hoped to get it all back off
and ive had very little alcohol this week compared to normal to try and help this.....ppfft well that worked *eye rolley*
as mentioned - ive been bouncing around at the bottom of the 11's and just not able to drop into the 10's - this is historic for me over the last 2 years really - 11st is a sticking point for me
ive now been doing this again for 6 weeks - have had the BH and also my bday - but hey ho so my C has suggested i try to do at least a few days of sucess to express (??)
basically shes told me to have 2/3rds of my plate superfree and just a 1/3rd free which isnt a prob really as i love my veg and salad although im worried im eating a bit to much fruit ? im out with the girls for a friends bday on sat for a chinese and drinking so ive said i will do thurs fri mon and tues
has anyone else done it or have any advice ?
im going to post my food each day whilst doing this for any pointers - pls feel free to comment
id really like to drop into the 10's next week which will spur me onto target im sure - i only want to get to 10st3lb for target - so close but so far......:j MFi3 wannabee :j

Thinking about your advice Lynz - re eating more free foods, I was going for more veg and fruit, but they are superfree aren't they?
Any suggestions on what to add to my diet in the way of free foods? I can only eat so many baked beans!
Hi Lucy, I think it's superfree rather than free that you need to add. Superfree foods are all fresh/frozen fruit and almost all fresh/frozen vegetables - the ones that AREN'T superfree (though they ARE free) are potatoes, parsnips, peas and other pulses - and that includes baked beans! Baked beans are free, but not superfree (if you were doing a Red day you'd have to weigh out the baked beans as a HEB).
So add grilled tomatoes or some fresh fruit to your breakfast and extra vegetables to your lunch and supper, or eat a dessert of fresh fruit -as long as each meal is At Least One Third Superfree - ALOTS, you can eat a lot as long as you have ALOTS!hope this helps
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

~Daisy~: I managed to fool my body after 2 weeks of STS just half a pound off my target, by declaring "target". Even though I knew I'd done it for psychological reasons my sweet old body then allowed me to lose a pound the following week, in spite of two parties
. Just between ourselves, I intend to "remain at target" until the allowed 3 lbs have gone, and then I will declare another target of half a stone off by which time I shall be 3 lbs closer to that target. Does this make sense (I'm hoping my body doesn't understand what I'm doing
but that you do!) I just wondered if that might help you - to declare target and thus "relax" a bit even whilst still following the rules.

i will however bear your theory in mind when i get a bit nearer as i do appear to struggle with my head on the whole numbers game - thank you
Dizzy - when your feeling a bit better would you drop me a Pm pls love - i wish to pick your brains on PEMC travel insurance but dont wish to bother you when you feeling pooxxx

How can I get back on track, I am now starving!
Hi advice from me is eat as much superfree as you can now for the rest of the day, or superspeed
Whether to take it from me ( Lol) is up to you! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Hello all
Back from WI and I actually lost 2.1/2lb !!!!!!!!!! that makes me 2.1/2 over target but still it's within the limit so I'm happy with that!! Proves that the scan bran really works (good job cos it really isn't the nicest food in the world is it?) Our class was in stitches when I explained how I had waded through three whole packets of the stuff - adding it to porridge, making cherry cake with it, even dipping it in low cal squash! the list was endless, (as were the trips to the loo!!!)
I am going to try and get through another three packets this week and hope to get a bit closer to my actual target.
Congrats to all losers and to anyone who is disappointed with results this week - STICK WITH IT - IT REALLY WORKS.
SANDC - people have weight problems for all different reasons, as explained by consultant but what Slimming World has given me as much as anything else is SUPPORT - I had tried every (and I mean every) other plan and failed at them all. S.W. plan is a healthy eating plan for life, I have been at (or very close to) target for almost 2 years now and am confident I'll still be there for the rest of my life. You are very lucky if you've never felt the need for support with weight issues.0 -
Evening all, just caught up on the day's thread, everyone is so inspiring
Work is stressful at the moment so I'm really struggling to resist 'treats' but I am still resisting! Even survived a trip to tesco for yet more fruit and veg with no hiccups. I'm starting to get really sick of fruit tho
B 2x alpen lite and banana
L bacon omelette with tomatoes and cucumber
D JP with HEA cheese and baked beans
fruit salad with muller lite
syns quavers 4.5, twix finger 5.5
Also did 20mins exercise, all I could face after a day at work
I know I'm hovering on the edge of not having enough SF today, but I can't eat anymore :wall:I have spread my dreams under your feet;
