Well done on your loss Susan :j thats brill :j

Today is my day off: meltdown hitting me = maryland cookies. Might as weell go for it and have the coconut milk in the thai curry for tea then start again tomorrow :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • Yes, an HB egg is indeed hard boiled!

Sorry for the delay, but I visit this website while at work and for some reason they seem to like me to do a bit of work in between posting! Well, to be truthful, no one realises I am not slaving over a hot computer full of workstuff, but I feel I should earn my money now and again.

Thinking about your advice Lynz - re eating more free foods, I was going for more veg and fruit, but they are superfree aren't they?

Any suggestions on what to add to my diet in the way of free foods? I can only eat so many baked beans!

g&b, hope the MOT wasn't too painful - mine's due on Monday & I've just had to shell out £75 excess for a new windscreen, otherwise it wouldn't have passed. Still might not pass actually as it sounds a bit ropey :(

£225:eek: :eek:That was for a full service, MOT and a few bits and pieces that needed done, brake pads etc.

I know this looks like I'm picking on you but it's a post that I see in various guises often on slimming threads on various forums.

Just what does SW and other plans do to educate people to stop this cycle of having blow outs? The attitude of having slipped so might as well pig out and then start again is precisely why people have size and weight problems isn't it? All these plans seem to do is make people think about it so much more.

I've avoided doing any kind of slimming plan because, well people seem to be too obsessed with points and days of this colour and that colour when slim people - well they just aren't.
  • Hello Everyone,

I am back after my week & half of eating rubbish & putting on 9lbs! Whoops:o

But i am now a married woman :j and enjoyed my 'honeymoon' (week off from work doing not alot (apart from eating lots of not SW friendly food!) Pic's will follow soon (if someone could tell me how to do it! and if you want it!)

I was Cilla on my wedding day - set up my hairdresser with my brother! So exciting as they are going on their first date tonight!

I had a nice surprised before i got married - i was in the top 5 of a competition to design a different sausage flavour (not SW friendly either) and as my runner up 'prize' i got some sausages delivered - of each top 5 flavour - mine = chilli con carne, then venison & cherry, liquorice & chilli, mextra special (mexican ish) and firecracker pumpkin - But didn't realise they would send me 90 sausages! Needless to say we had a sausage tasting night at mine!

It was a shame that i didn't win :( - the pumpkin one won - which in all of my family's opinion was the worst out of the 5! V Bland!

Back on plan since monday and sneaky look at scales says i have lost 4lbs already! :o (Scan Bran seems to be working iykwim!) I know i shouldn't but if i don't loose 1st 3lbs in 2 weeks! i won't be able to get any more vouchers from the doctor!

On a brighter note - i was one of the nominees for slimmer of the year at group, although i didn't win! But did put myself into a draw and won a 6 week countdown! :T

My aim is to loose another 2st 8lbs by Christmas and to fit into a size 14 strapless red dress so my husband can treat me to a nice meal - so i can wear it!

Well done everyone else, keep going (i know i am!)

Wow, the Quorn Southern style burgers are YUMMY!! I was a bit sceptical as i had never tried them before but i am a total convert:D I dont think anyone would guess it wasnt chicken either! They are definitely worth 2.5 syns.

On todays green day i had

Pre breakfast FF activia and an apple
Breakfast Banana, Fibre Plus(HeB), muller light
Lunch egg fried rice(2 syns for the oil) and sweetcorn
    Snack FFactivia
Dinner Quorn Burger (2.5 syns) , WM roll (HeB), wedges with cheese (HeA), ketchup (2 syns)

Used my other HeA as milk in coffee/tea and have used 6.5 syns.
Think i'm going to stick to green days, with the odd EE day thrown in for variety.

Lunch, Chicken Salad and Fruit Salad.

Dinner: Beef Casserole (Beef, Carrots, Onions, Parsnips), ickle dumpling (3 syns), cabbage and brocolli.

Going to have a packet of S&V French Fries after i've been to the gym so will have had both my HE's and 7.5 syns.

Lots of *positive vibes* in keeping fairies at bay for everyone x
  • Evening all

I enrolled on my part time PGCE today :j and got my haircut (that should be a lb or so off right?! :rotfl:). I am about to go out for the evening with friends. I'm taking the car though so won't waste too many syns on alcohol!

    Green day:

B - shreddies (HEB) and skimmed milk (HEA)
L - pasta and LF pesto (1.5syns I think), activa FF yog
D - 2 x eggs fried in frylight on HM WM bread (HEB)
    Snacks - 2 x small bananas
Drinks - NAS squash, water, coffee, 175ml dry white wine (6syns), soda water
    Exercise - 20min walk

    Total syns = 7.5

I still have a HEA so may have a bit of cheese when I get home if peckish
