Lynz,
That could be the answer. The first column on my food diary does look a bit empty.
So basically, get more fruit and veg down me? (Especially veg I think.)
I bought a trolly full in Morrisons the other night, so I had better get those recipes out!
Thanks.0 -

Tomorrow is another day, upwards and onwards and all that... but I broken the chain and I'm afraid now of future failures
Feeling so very gutted is out of proportion! Your body has hung on to a small amount of extra fluid for whatever reason. Please don't take it so hard, you may well find that next week's loss is higher than usual for you.
I worry slightly, that someone who is so hung up on seeing the scales go down EVERY week, won't be able to sustain a life-style where ups and downs are really, really normal.
Chill a little, celebrate your losses and thumb your nose at any little gains. Draw a graph showing your weight change and just notice how the line is going down - you're doing well, be proud of yourselfI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Forgot to say welcome to all the new Slimming Worlders
You only need to read the posts on here to see how well some of the posters are doing. But even the ones who struggle occasionally will tell you that there's nothing easier than food optimising - nothing is banned and you're encouraged to eat lots of free foods every day.
Exercise is helpful if you can do it, but don't despair if you can't because you can (and will) still lose weight if you folow the plans.
I have decided to retire as a Consultant since I have one DD who is going back to college and has a toddler to be looked after and another DD who has recently gone into business for herself and needs a [STRIKE]slave[/STRIKE] helper. However, I hope I shall still be able to help out on here if anyone needs a little inspiration or support and I've got a huge file of recipes if anybody needs something new to try out.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Good Afternoon to you all, well done to all the losers and hugs to those in need..
Red day today..
B - Ham, babybel, milk in tea (HEA)
L - Chicken caesar salad, parmesan (2) dressing (2 syns)
T - Gammon, potato (HEB) courgette
S - soya nuts (5) orange, apple, nectarine
Struggling to have another HEA and HEB most days as I'm not a big cheese/milk fan and i'm staying away from the devil that is bread and cereal bars.
I don't feel deprived though and i'm still getting enough fibre due to my veg and soya nuts.

dizzy, great to see you back, get well soon!!
g&b, hope the MOT wasn't too painful - mine's due on Monday & I've just had to shell out £75 excess for a new windscreen, otherwise it wouldn't have passed. Still might not pass actually as it sounds a bit ropey

L - leftover macaroni tuna cheese (HEA) & HM soup
D - chilli & baked spud with mangetout
