Congrats on the bike test, Mummyof5! I am an old biker and still love it. Well done on the weight loss too.

Green Pixey, please don't be put down by a half pound gain when you've been doing so well, just stick on plan and next week'll be better, I'm sure.

Yoemma, well done on motivating yourself to do so much, I am really impressed and sometimes keeping brain full keeps the sad bits out. Like Lynz said, we will give you praise and tell you it's all going to be fine - which of course it will!!

    Morning,

Went to my 1st class last night and found everyone was friendly and I think it is something I can do.
Was happy with my initial weigh in as it was less than i thought lol

today i am having (trying to copy all your abbreviations!)

    ee

    b- vanilla muller light, strawberrys
l - pasta with chopped tomatos and laughing cow triangle
snack - grapes, jordans frusili bar (6)

dinner - well to be honest i need to go to the shops lol but i might try the egg and sw chips with a salad starter
  • Car is in for its MOT:eek: Keeping fingers crossed it wont cost a bomb.

Had 2 breakfasts, had a FF Activia before i went and a coffee, an apple while i walked back from the garage - nice brisk 30 min walk:D

Got back and had a Muller light, banana and fibre plus bar with a cup of tea. I'm stuffed!

Not sure about lunch and dinner, i'm doing a green day today, will be having a quorn burger in a WM roll for lunch or dinner with SW chips, need to have rice and something for the other meal as i cooked off extra last night. Might do egg fried rice or something? Hmm, decisions...

    Morning all!

Just a quick question. I'm looking to do SW Online as I can't get to a class easily (would necessitate taking 4 children! - don't think they or everyone else would be impressed! :D) Am torn between silver and gold membership. Are the body magic and food optimising books (the only difference in the package) REALLY worth the extra £15??

I prefer a class (it motivates me more) but really can't take the children and there's no-one I can ask to sit regularly :(

I went for gold memebership for the first time, then i will join at one of the lower grades when i renew - hopefully wont have to as i will have lost all my weight by then;)

I find the food optimising book really helpful, its easy to grab and look up syns etc.

    Morning Ladies & Hello Newbies
Well done to the losers !

Thanks for your messages....Ive been too rough to get on here tho til now (still feeling rubbishy )

Ive got a nasty ear infection and im on some anti bios so hopefully they will start kicking in shortly....but this has caused massive problems with me only having one balance organ now :o I still cant even use the zimmer safely at the mo as my brain cannot process any signals from the defunct poorly ear - so Im crawling about to the loo still as its safer down here ;) I can remember a time in my younger days when carpet burns had a whole different meaning! :rotfl::rotfl:

My eating went a bit to pot yesterday too.....not that I was bad:A...I just felt too sick to eat much so ended up with just a tin of ww soup and a brown ham roll courtesy of OHs mum and that was about it.....and had a kit kat with a cuppa in the evening.

Today will be pretty much the same sort of thing....Im just soooo glad she lives pretty close as I really would be snookered on my own at the mo as OH really cant have any time off just yet.....His boss was reallllly good with him with my op and all my appts so we dont want to rock the boat too much.

Hoping as the Anti bios start to work today & the balance will come back enough to get me off the floor ;)so I can get to WI tomorrow but if not...HEY HO - I can always dust the skirting boards while Im stuck down here to keep me busy when I feel a bit better lol x x

I'm sorry you're feeling so ropey, but I do love your style :rotfl::rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    Good morning all
Well done on the losses again folks :T
Dizzy-hope your antibiotics kick in soon
Divadee - with your porridge oats you need to have a oat/scan bran to make it a (B) -you could always have it with lunch -thats what I do ;)

Guess who was at the gym at 8am this morning? angel09.gifrotflmao.gif -I did another 1hr 30mins -but didn't get to walk back as it was "persistantly persisting it down" frown.gif -so hubby came to see if I was still in the gym and drove me home tongue.gif....
I got quite a nice suprise today as I was tootling away on my exercise bike -surrounded by squaddies when one of the PT instructors came up and asked me "what unit I belonged to? -as he didn't recall seeing me before" - confused.gif -after looking perplexed I told him I was a civvi/wife and he said he thought I was one of the troops rotflmao.gif -I never clicked that I had my fave mossy green top on and was surrounded by squaddies in green tee-shirts ...... I can't believe he thought I was one of the "inmates" tongue.gif -so at least I don't stick out like a sore thumb bliss.gif
Well we need to nip shopping when hubby gets home so Im in the midst of making a cottage pie -so I can flick the remoska on as we leave and then it will be ready by the time we get back wink.gif

So -my red meal plan for today is:-
    • 28g oats (B) + 1 crispbread*
    • 250ml semi milk (A)
    • banana
    • mixed berries
    • tuna bashed with :-
    • quark
    • spring onions
    • balsamic -with:-
    • carrots
    • peppers
    • beetroot
    • gherkin
    • 2 crispbreads -(1.5) + *
    • activia lemon (2.5)
    • cottage pie:-
    • extra lean mince
    • onions
    • carrots
    • swede
    • 198g potato (B)
    • broccoli
    • 250ml semi (A)

  • Hi All,

It was my 2nd WI last night and I'm a bit disappointed (again).

The first week I lost 1.5lbs and last night nowt, nada, nothing. Thats two weeks of being really good and a total loss of 1.5lbs.

I've got about 5 stone to shift and at this rate I will be going to SW for ever!

I do EE and have handed in my food diaries, so await feedback.

A typical day for me is:

B: 2x weetabix, skimmed milk, banana.

L: HB egg, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, quark, ham. Muller light.

D: Quorn sausages, mash, mushy peas

    Snacks: Apples, grapes, nectarines

Syns: Glass of wine, 2 finger kit kat

I vary my food every day and I try to eat between meals. I've started walking a bit more.

    Where am i going wrong?

Lucy: I dont think a third of what you are eating is superfree, or is it?

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
