Good evening all
Hello to the newbies, well done to those with losses and hug to those suffering....
Thanks Inazuma-thats a lovely thing to say-Im not sure where my new attitude has come from -but Im making the most of it
Well its been a cold but dry day here -feels like autumn is sneaking in on us...
My SW magazine arrived yesterday -oohh there are some nice looking wintery comfort food recipes in ...must try some soon
I had to get some planning done as hubby is away on thursday playing golf, then on Saturday he is on duty so will be out from 8am until 10am Sunday and then on Monday they are off back to the UK for the hockey tournament until Friday evening so I have a few days "left to my own devices"-so I needed to get my meal plan in place so I don't get naughty
-
I wanted to get it sorted today as we will have to go shopping tomorrow night as that will be the only chance we get (apart from Friday -and I don't shop on a friday evening -tis like a siege then)
Well my Red meal plan today looked like this:-- apple
- 250ml semi (A)
- huge salad
- roast chicken
- apple
- 2 crispbreads (B)
- quark with herbs
- muller crunch corner-bleughhhhhhhhh and a waste of 7 syns
- pork fillet
- Veggie stir-fry (0.5)
- 250ml semi (A)
- 1tsp camp (0.5)
- 1 fibre plus bar (B)
I have got used to the German lower fat versions -and they are blinkin cheaperand only 4 syns .. b*gger is I have another 9 of those mullers in the fridge
-I have told hubby to take them to work with him tomorrow and give them to his mate -who has 3 littlies who will no doubt make light work of them
I have my oats n milk in the pan and my berries defosting for the morning as Im cadging a lift onto camp with hubby so I can get another 1hr30mins in at the gym and then have the 1hr walk back -so brekkie needs to be ready to just throw together as I really don't function first thing in the morning :rotfl:..... I hope I can get this mon/wed/fri gym visits into being a routine before the naff weather kicks in -although hubby has said that if ever I want a lift home afterwards I just need to go to his hanger and grab him -its only a 2 min car ride back-but for as long as its decent I will walk and make the most of it
.
ooh and as we are shopping tomorrow evening Im making my minced beef and potato layer with a cheesey topping (tis yummy)-so I can cook it in advance and then just flick the remoska on as we leave for the supermarket-that way by the time we get back and put the shopping away we can just sit down and eat
Right thats me for now...have a lovely evening all... and hope that those feeling poorley are better soon...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Evening all.
I've not been around for a few weeks. I feel off the wagon in a big way. I was sterolised 2 weeks ago then 2 days later my 4 year old daughter had gromits fitted. Poor kid was bad coming round from op I ended up carrying her back to ward (was not ment to lift for 2 weeks) and she fell asleep on me for 90 mins. Due to me feeling c**p I just ate for england anything and everything I should eat.
I am going back to SW in morning I bet I have put on at least half a stone. I am going to rejoin I don't want to have to lose loads before I get any awards. I am going to give it 100% this time.

Hello everyone.
I meant to post on here before today's weigh in as I was feeling decidedly demotivated.
I finally decided to look at my weight in my SW book last week. I was still 10.5 lbs heavier than my all time heaviest weight before having my little boy! And 2 stone heavier than when I fell pregnant with him. It made me realise how far I still have to go. I'm not going to post my weight on here but sufficd to say I have almost half my body weight to lose. I gave myself a bit of a talking to. I have been really good on the plan and tried to remind myself of that and it hasn't been hard so I can see that this is sustainable but it was just the depressing thought of having gotten so fat and there being so many milestones to reach! I felt better once I acknowledged how well I have done over the past 5 weeks but it is really odd how easily the demons can come out and try and mess up the positive thinking!
Anyway, I got weighted tonight and have managed to lose anthoer 3.5lb this week so I'm thrilled. I know lots of my old clothes will start fitting better soon and that really helps to keep me motivated. Being on here and reading about everybody else's days really helps to so a big thank you to all the posters and here's to a hopfully positive week.

I would think so but put it when it has cooled a bit so it doesn't curdle - quark is really good in currys to make them creamy!
Mmmmm, what a good idea, love the sound of that!!Not 100% sure but I thought the quorn sausages were free on all plans but the southern style burgers are 3.5 each?
Hope some0one tells me as the southern stylem burgers are for tea tonight, If they are free I'll have 2! x
* Southern style burgers 4 pack frozen 63g - 2.5 syns each on all plans
* sausages (including cumberland) are free on all plans
Anyone heard from dizzy?? Hope she's ok
My macaroni cheese was lush tonight - I think the yoghurt 'split' a bit (to use daisy's word) so it looked a bit like I'd used cottage cheese instead, tasted good though. Have a big portion left over so I'll have that for lunch tomorrow0 -
im joining slimming world on thursday wish to shift some joyful weight. i am medically obese a size 16 and i would like a healthy way to go back down to say about a comfy 12. would like to do this for the end of the year. lets hope it can be done. i want to do things properly i have worked on my diet so its better than what it was. my heaviest iwas a size 18. i am very chesty and have been since a teen, so sometimes need bigger size on top as most tops as for people who are not as large as me. my friend started this a few months ago and she loved it and is losing weight in a healthy way
i hate folk who diet i think it should be a lfiestyle change and be healthy eating:A VK :A0 -

Hello all and well done for the losses - I made a macaroni cheese recipe from an old mag meant to me - the sauce was quark tub of with two egg yolks and then some grated cheese (which I used as my hea)
Tonights dinner has ben the chicken and veg curry from the new mag - it was gorgeous I'm really loving the recipes.
Diva I've been following extra easy and it is so easy.this is the first "diet" I've tried and everything fits in with feeding a family I had already cut bread right down so that's not bothered me
Today I've managed a no syn day having
B all bran(heb) and milk(hea) with apple and pear
L smoked haddock poached egg and large grilled tomato
D chicken & veg curry with rice
Apricot Muller light
Really hoping for a 2 if not a 3lbs loss on Friday to get me close to my mini target of a stone b4 hols (2 weigh ins)
