    Thanks for your reply Susan.
I don't think I've got any patches its just coming out LOADS. Guess I have been stressed since starting SW not that doing SW is stressful but its just been bad timing with a few problems, some of which I can't really see ending anytime soon. Nevermind.

practice a new mantra "its only hair" whats the worst that could happen? it could all fall out? is that all? you still have your health, your family(i;m guessing) and folk that love you? its only hair! and there are some GREAT hats and wigs about! imagine doing your 'hair' and not having to re-straighten it in the morning when its gone curly again in the night?? ;)

I had stress-induced hair loss at uni, when i was working hard and living with strangers in an unusual surrounding. I lost a small 50p-piece sized patch at the back of my head - luckily it wasn't too noticable but i couldn't have my hair up for 2 years! It grew back though.
Nowadays my hair sheds loads but i think i just notice it more coz its long. It usually sheds the most when i haven't washed it often enough. On the plus side the more you shed and re-grow the nicer, softer and shinier it will be (fresh hair rather than old hair, if you see what i mean)

  • Congratulations to Bobcat, Glaswe Jen and Balckberry-rum on your loss.

Although Blackberry-rum I was a bit confused, are you at target? If so Congrats! :D

Dalia - I do Bikram Yoga, never tried Ashtanga but hear it's very good. Bikram gets you sweating like an absolute maniac too and I love it. Think it's great.

H007 - I bought the new mag too, haven't read the whole way through it but am loving next years calendar. Some real good receipe ideas.

    Get well soon Dizzyk

Can i please ask a quick question about low fat yoghurt?

My (very old) SW book says 0.5 syns for 100g low fat natural yog, and 0 syns for very low fat natural yog - but it doesn't give any numbers.
But what counts as very low fat?

I have 1.5% low fat yog - is that low fat or very low fat???
Just want to know if i need to weigh/syn it or it's it's free.
    thanks

  • Hey again,

I was interested in the whole Lentils debate and everyone saying that they are not a super free food. I always thought that they were to be fair and I absolutely love lentil soup and eat loads of it lol

Anyways I went on the SW website to check and here's what it says; I think the S beside it means it's a super free food. However its not a SS food, which are always the best. Thank goodness for strawberries.

    Lentils (all varieties)
Popular in European and Indian cuisine, lentils are available in brown, green, orange, yellow and black, They are lens-shaped and may be bought whole or split. Used in soups and casseroles, they are also the main ingredients of the well-known Indian dip, dhal. High in fibre and low in fat, lentils are a good source of protein, iron, potassium, pyridoxine, thiamin and riboflavin. (pop-up windows)

    its all very confusing lol
  • lol aha, thank you. I was all confused by that. I spend ages trying to wrap my head around the super free thing :D

Makes no odds to me really, I'm always on EE with what seems to be speed lunches
