Ok, thanks Bex - if 100g is 4.5 syns then 250g for 10syns (as per your calculation) looks about right
So I will have half (prob a bit less than half) a pack for about 5 syns.

Good morning again
Just wondering if someone could answer another few questions for me please.
This is my plan for the day...
B-Porridge (HEB) and milk (part HEA) with banana
L-Omlette with onion and red pepper with a large salad. With laughing cow light triangle (part HEA)?
D-Pork steak with fat trimmed, Cous cous, stirfry veggies
Apple, raspberries, orange and Muller light yogurt
Q1, Is this ok to have my L cow light triangle as half a HEA?
Q2, With the plan being so filling (good thing of course) how can i fit in my minimum of 5 syns per day. I can do an options choc drink this evening but any suggestions on a small addition (not choc)
I also have a dip sachet to syn up if someone would be kind enough to work it out for me. Its made up with ff fromage frais or ff sour cream
Serving prepared 2 TBSP
cal - 70
fat cal - 60
total fat - 0g 9%
sat fat - 0g 20%
trans fat - 0g
chol - 0g 4%
sodium - 240mg 10%
total carb - 1g 1%
TIA again for your help.
I just NEED to get this right0 -
Billee - if i am abit low on syns (hardly ever happens lol) i have a small glass of fruit juice.
for example last night i had a small tumbler of pomegreat juice which was 5.5 syns.
also orange juice is 4 for 200ml which again is a small tumbler glass0 -

I'll leave your harder questions to experts but if you don't want any extra to 'eat' you could cook your stir fry with 'real' oil or some sherry or honey or maybe have an extra bit of cheese?
P.S. Is it the case that syns are compulsory? I know lots of people save them up.0 -
Billiee - I would suggest using 'good fats' to up your syns if you feel you are not using them up. For example use a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil in some of your recipes, for 2 syns. that way you'll get lovely healthy hair and nails too!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Has anyone noticed an increased hair loss since doing Slimming World? I've been quite concerned at a big increase in the amount of hair I loose when washing it and when I check my diary its since I started Slimming World
Skin seems better, less spots but the hair thing is horrendous !
Hiya Deb
i suffer from hair loss and its awful,i didnt think it was SW related but definately stress related,i started a new job and the week before i went i had bald patches,so i shaved it off (some women may find this drastic but its really ok) now my life is even again i have my hair back, except its coming in grey in places, when did i get that old?
i'm almost certain its not SW,when i did the plan yrs ago i had hair and no grey bits! don't worry about it (easier said than done) and just know that its only hair and it will grow back0 -

Thanks for your reply Susan.
I don't think I've got any patches its just coming out LOADS. Guess I have been stressed since starting SW not that doing SW is stressful but its just been bad timing with a few problems, some of which I can't really see ending anytime soon. Nevermind.0 -
