Urrgh just been to a leaving do lunch time party so decided to have a flexi day....have pretty much eaten a year's worth of syns:T Enjoyed it though!!
What does everyone use their syns for? I tend to use mine for a bit of extra milk as like milky coffees and also use them for cooking products more than sweets or chocolate xx0 -
I don't usually have ready made stuff but I am off to a hotel for a few days and thought it might be useful to have some bars or other snack type stuff in the room, as well as my usual fruit.
I read a lot about Alpen Lite and those fibre ones here - anyone got any recommendations?
I HATE chewy bars, just wondered if any of them were crunchy????
Or if there are any "acceptably naughty" crunchy snacks that might help me avoid room service!
Many thanks!0 -
Thanks for this tip, I always fancy something sweet in the evening and getting a bit bored with yogurts.
I never thought about having my HEB in the form of a cereal bar at night.Great stuff!
Im finding its helping me loads, I used to have lots of sweet snacky things in an evening after tea so on days when I dont want to use anymore syns on a night I try and save one HEB to have a hifi bar, the choc orange ones and the choc mint ones are nice, not tried the alpen lights yet but I bought some this morning and will have one tonight0 -
fozzie the hifi bars are pretty chewy but I dont know about any other ones, those are the only ones I have tried so far0

I was going to buy some tonight....ah well.....
What I REALLY want is those oaty ones that they advertise with people landing on haystacks!!
But as I can't remember what they are called, I can't look up the syns :rotfl:0 -
Fozzie - alpen bars are not crunchy either. They are not really chewy, they kind of fall to bits and are quite soft.
I think the ones you are thinking of are Nature Valley? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
