  • oh, by the way, I notice next Monday Netto have 6-packs of Muller Light for £1.27. Unfortunately for me I don't like the ones they multipack (vanilla and chocolate? cherry and something else?) so I can't take advantage.

Right, I'm stuffed. I'm off to burn calories sitting up in bed reading :p - up at 6 am for work.

Have a good week everyone, onwards and downwards.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I think they are only available from Lakeland, Dalia, either in person or online. If online hardly worth it cos you'd pay more in postage! They are a love 'em or hate 'em thing, I love 'em (a pack of butter would last me about six months pre SW, so you can tell I'm not a big user)

Now for liquid, and at that point added the lemon juice that's supposed to be added at the end (we are talking Slow Cooker here!). I prepared my vegetables and ate them (with butter buds but without stifado) and let the stifado cook for longer. I did end up thickening the remaining liquid with a spoonful of Smash, and of course there are the slightly strange bits of mashed up scanbran in there too, but all in all it is rich and dark (say nothing, girls :rotfl:) and very very tasty. Good job, three more meals to go with it.

Thanks hun. Does it actually taste of butter? I'm not a huge butter eater either but I do miss it on toast or for pasta. Mmm butter !!!!!! moment!
  • Morning all

Well my at home WI showed that I have put on half a pound :o that's better than I expected though so I'm not too bothered. First gain in the 2months I've been doing SW.

I will be MIA til Thursday as I'm away with work. I have a bag packed with fruit, alpen lights and mugshots so hopefully I can stick to SW as best I can whilst away. I will go low syn for thurs to sun when I'm back to try balance out the catered meals.

    Have a good week all

Morrisions currently have batchelors pasta & sauce on 6 for the price of 3 ;)

Damn my wheat intollerance - used to love them! I tried sieving out the powdered sauce and using it with wheat free pasta - twas "interesting" the lumps that came out of it :rotfl:

Havent felt very well last 2 days - looking back at food diary I think I've really overdone the dairy and wheat, not thinking about how many times I had it, only whether it fit with SW or not, and not thinking that the Hifi bars will probably have wheat in.

I had... 25 syns yesterday  Sundays has always been a potential problem day for me, as I need to be so organised to stick to SW (getting up at 6.30am, doing the morning job for 5 hours, quick rush home for v quick shower and back out the door to afternoon/evening 9 hour shift  Collapse in a heap and desire chocolate and/or wine :D Its compounded now by trying to avoid pasta and dairy, as I used to take either oatsosimple or mug shots in to the jobs. Instead, I had a hifi first thing, and an apple late morning - all good. Grabbed a pack of oat thins which I *think* could count as a HEb +1, or 7 syns. Got to afternoon job and scrounged a JP and tuna mayo, as thought I'd do an EE day - completely forgetting about the two HEbs I'd already had. had a plate of beef salad. Had another JP with tuna mayo and more salad. Had staff dinner of roast veg, one small roast potato and a ladle full of gravy - thinking the only syns I'd had all day was the gravy and mayo. had a choc craving on way home, compounded by a visit to the petrol station, so thought I was being good havign a hifi. Got home and worked it all out - damn! :o

Today I need to go out and buy stock, and any ignredients I haven't got for dyno rod soup :D

  • Hello all,

I'm still trying hard to catch up with you, this thread moves so fast! I'm currecntly on page 111 so should be with you shortly.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, and behaved! I always find the weekend harder, much more temptation around. On Saturday DH brought the new popping candy chocolate orange. I lurve chocolate orange and am ashamed to say had 5 whole segments. This then led onto a packet of quavers and a handful of dried cereal. I don't know why I do it but if I fail I have to make it worth it iyswim.

This is the first time I have slipped up and I'm only on my second week. So I thought I must confess here as I want to be brutally honest with myself, and there is nothing like hard evidence with a written confession :o

To balance this out I am going to be really strict from now until WI on Thursday. Off to play catch up now. xx
